What's your "Go To" book? The book you can read over & over

Oh, you've got great taste! My rereads lean towards:
-In which one girl ruins literally everything. Stephanie Brown is my hero.
-Standalone with a hilarious twist. Also pretty dark.
Literally anything Ilona Andrews (Kate Daniels and Hidden Legacy series in particular), Fever Series by Karen Marie Moning, Charlie Davidson series by Darynda Jones, and Mercy Thompson series by Patricia Briggs

I don't generally reread very often, so the fact that I'm on my fourth reread of the Harry Potter series is pretty significant.
The Blue Sword, by Robin McKinley, and The Changeling Sea, by Patricia McKillip. The Blue Sword
The Changeling Sea
I read anything that's graphic novel or manga related. I also read non-fiction in case I need advice on something (like marketing).
Right now, I'm reading the Slayers light novels. Slayers - The Ruby Eye

Slayers novels over and over.
The entire Pure/ Dark Ones by Aja James over and over! https://www.goodreads.com/series/8550... I'm currently in a buddy read for Book 2, and waiting for my friends to finish so we can move on to Book 3.
Just now started rereading
. You can add this one to my list. I'm sure it'll be one of those 'comfort reads' eventually. :)
I can re-read the Hidden Legacy series by Ilona Andrews over and over again. I love, love, LOVE Rogan and Nevada.
Iron Seas by Meljean Brook! All of them, but particularly The Iron Duke and The Kraken King.I am heartbroken that the series is indefinitely on hold :'(
1 Ilona Andrews (Kate Daniels)2 Amelia Hutchins (The Fae Chronicles)
3 Suzanne Wright (The Phoenix Pack Series,
The Mercury Pack Series and The Deep In Your Veins Series)
4 Nalini Singh (The Guild Hunter Series and The Psy/Changeling Series)
5 D.B. Reynolds (Vampires in America)
.......There is more but....this will do for now...lol
Any book by Karen Marie Moning or Sandra Hill are my go to authors. I've reread alot of books by these authors. I actually fell in love with books because of these two.
I also love the Alphas' Mate and have re-read it several times. Just a good comfort read!Bunnycore wrote: "

I read few books more than once, even fewer books more than twice, but the once book I can read over and over is
. I don't know why, but it's such a perfect book! It doesn't really fit with the types of books I usually love to read, I'm not even that big of a Stephen King fan, but I just love to go back every once in a while and read this compelling story one more time. The movie is pretty good, and the soundtrack for that movie is plain awesome. But nothing matches the book!
I am loving the books and series here! I have re-read all of Anne Bishops series all over, and am looking forward to all of them before diving into The Queen's Bargain
Any series by Ilona Andrews for sure. During the holidays I try to find old comfort books that I love to reread. It helps me to destress. I love rereading the Rachel Morgan series by Kim Harrison, Kate Daniels by Ilona Andrews, Chicagoland Vampires by Chloe Neill, and Mercy series by Patricia Briggs.
Jane Eyre is my choice. I always get lost in the language, the growth and strengthening of Jane's character, and her interactions with Mr. Rochester.
Lord of the Rings is a book I reread yearly...but also the Guild Hunter Series by Nalini Singh is one I've reread quite a bit.
I'm not much of a re-reader, even of my favourites - too many books and not enough lifetimes! And if I do re-read a book, then generally it's only once and usually just to catch up/remind me of a series. A couple of exceptions are
which is my favourite book of all time. So far I've read it 3 times and am due another re-read soon.
This whole series is going to be a multiple re-read, but this first one is another that I've read three times. I love everything about the series, but this book and Ox (the MC) is my favourite fictional character of all time.
Pretty much anything by Kelley Armstrong, but especially her Cainsville series. That's definitely my most reread series. I just finished my 7th (I think?) reread of that this week. I know it so well by now that nothing comes at an oh-I-didn't-remember-this surprise anymore, but I still enjoy every second I spend with these characters.

I'm re-reading HP now ... on book 6! Also, you could totally count comics ... I have a stack of Vertigo's finest next to my bed, all of which could be considered UF:
Which comics are your "go-to"? ♡♡♡
