I rarely read books more than once even if I love them. The vampire novel, Honor At Stake by Declan Finn, on the other hand is a book that I've already read twice since August and I'll likely read it again.

The list of books series I can read over and over again are:Lux Series
Significance Series
Prince of wolves ( The Grey Wolf series)
Sweet evil series
My "over and over" books Thea Harrison's Elder Races series and all of Elizabeth Hunter's books. Of course, there's Ilona Andrews, and Patricia Briggs, and Nalini Singh ... ;)
Of course, I can read Pride and Prejudice over and over.
I'm obsessed with The Master
I've re-read The Host and could read it again.
And when is she going to write a new book already?
And I have re-read the Fever series
There are more, but I'll leave it at that for now.

This is the first one that comes to mind. The main character just feels so real and the writing really flows.
I'm a big re-reader and I would have to say that my go to isPatricia Briggs and her
Mercy Thompson and Alpha and Omega
&
I've re-read these more than any others
I've also done re-reads of these series at multiple time

But I frequently go to historical romance for my re-reads also
some of my favorite there that have been re-read at least twice

I just reread a couple of the Nighthuntress and really enjoyed the reread. I'll probably do the whole series.
The Fever series by Karen Marie Moning... or the Highlander series by Karen Marie Moning... Her books are addictive!
I loved the Highlander series (not so much book 2). Currently reading the Fever series with a series read along. Hasn't hooked me though Faefever (the one I am currently reading has really become interesting in more ways than one. I've re-read Kiss of the Highlander, The Dark Highlander, The Immortal Highlander and Spell of the Highlander. She is actually part of the reason I read paranormal and UF today as I read the novella in Tapestry and went on to read Kenyon, which led me to Cole and Singh, and then Briggs and Andrews in the UF genre. So I really have a spot for Moning on my shelf.
She was the Author that introduced me to the genre, so I have a bit of a soft spot for her as well! I have the Highlander series in (much loved) paperbacks... which have seen better days! I read Faefever before the next book (Dreamfever?) was released.. and with that cliffhanger ( not sure how far into it you are!)... I was so cranky! I hope you enjoy the series read long!
my go to book is definitely acheron by sherrilyn kenyon but I've read most of the books listed in this chat and could reread most of them. sisters of the moon in a favourite. the hallows series by Kim Harrison. anything by keri arther. Christine feehan. laurell k Hamilton. Jim butcher I like the dresden files but enjoyed codex alera more.
I don't know if I ever can re-read Ash's book. I know I probably will some day all the same but the emotions.... I would never use it as a to go book,... maybe the 2nd half. I loved it but so harsh and emotional.
I will reread A Prayer for Owen Meany at least once a year. There is just something about the characters that touches me and I find the story to be very compelling. Too bad the movie adaptation was so crappy.
I'm a huge re-reader..... Often times if i love a book or series i will go back and reread several times. My top set is Scarlett Dawn's Forever Ever more series
followed by stacie Marie Brown's Darkness series and The steel and Stone series by Annette Marie . I also love to go back and reread Ann Mcaffery's Pern books, Dune series etc. There are too many to name!
I like to do re-reads when I'm in some kind of book-slump. A book I love is most likely to get me out of it, so why not go back to something I've enjoyed in the past?My go to books are Karen Lynch's Relentless series which I've read at least 5 times, and A.&E. Kirk's Divinicus Nex Chronicles.
Bloodfire Blood WagerThese are my two go-to books. I adore them and I honestly have no idea how many times I've read them. Highly recommend!!
I'm forever re reading gena showlaters lords of under World Series, kresley coles immortals after dark, brian lumleys necroscope series is a all time favourite of mine!!
Jo ( bubbles the book pimp ) wrote: "I'm forever re reading ... brian lumleys necroscope series ..."Yaaaassss! That is a fantastic series!! I haven't read it in years but my library recently acquired the audio of the 1st book. I'm on the wait list!
One of my favorites is Lover Eternal (Black Dagger Brotherhood #2) - it makes me cry every timeI could also read Immortals After Dark series over and over too

Also rereading the Imp series. I'm enjoying both as they are really fun series, not too serious.

My favorites are Laurell K Hamilton both series, Sherriyln Kenyon, my new favorite is Kim Harrison the Hollows and fvorite stand along authors books by Anne Rice and Stephen King. Thanks
Pretty much any Ilona Andrews, Dresden Files, Immortals after Dark, Fever series. Basically well-written books with humor, romance, and excitement. I read them so quickly I often find I've skimmed things anyway and enjoy re-reading them or listening to the audiobooks.
Anything by my classic literary favorites such as Edgar Allan Poe, Bret Harte, Walt Whitman to name a few.

I'm doing a reread of New Species now. I reread Fury for a BOM and just wanted to go back. They are easy sexy reads. A lot of stupid but easy and fun all the same. Up to Wrath currently
Kelley Armstrong's Cainsville series, and her Women of the Otherworld series are almost entirely filled with books I read over and over again. Just. So. Good.
I can read the Scarletti Curse, Burning Wild, Scent of Darkness, Lover Avenged, Desperation, and any book by Walter Mosley to name a few
I think mine would have to be authors. TO name a few they would be: Johanna Lindsey, Laurell K Hamilton, Christine Feehan, Simon R. Green and Sherrilyn Kenyon would be my go to authors. I pretty much love every book I've ever read by these authors.
@Raven- Yes I have re-read Johanna Lindsey in the past, and also Christine Feehan and Sherrilyn Kenyon are some of my re-read books but specific as not all of them hit for me.
The Fever series by Karen Marie MoningThe Anita Blake and Merry Gentry series by Laurell K. Hamilton
Otherworld/Sisters of the Moon series by Yasmine Galenorn
Maximum Ride series by James Patterson
All incredibly written books I have and could continue to read several times over

Alikat wrote: "Pretty much any Ilona Andrews, Dresden Files, Immortals after Dark, Fever series. Basically well-written books with humor, romance, and excitement. I read them so quickly I often find I've skimmed ..."Ilona Andrews yessssss
I have a lot of them. Every so often I hit about 3 new books in a row that result in row where my mind wanders within the first 1-2 hours of an audio book, and I start to wonder if the problem is me or the writing. When that happens, I almost always go back to tried and true favorites to see if it's my head or the writing that's the problem. Here's my list of enduring favorites:
Anything Harry Potter (Goblet of Fire->Deathly Hallows)
Drew Hayes (Recent Novels, Super Powereds, Villain's Code, etc)
Haruki Murakami (Almost any of his full length novels except 1Q84... that one was too repetitive for me. I like the Sheep Man series and Wind Up Bird Chronicle. He does brilliant quirky female characters.)
Stephen King (11.22.63)
Robert Jordan and Brandon Sanderson (The Wheel of Time - Mostly books at the end of the series)
Brandon Sanderson (Most of his books, especially Mistborn and Stormlight Archive novels)
Old School Mercedes Lackey (unfortunately her newer books haven't been doing it for me)

Patricia Briggs - Mercy Thompson Series/Alpha & Omega Series
Thea Harrison - Elder Races; she just keeps getting better and better
Elizabeth Hunter - Elemental World and Legacy, and Cambio Springs (Irin Chronicles not so much) - and can't WAIT for Benzin!
Nalini Singh - I don't know which I love more, the Guildhunters series or Psy/Changeling (except the first book - I always skip it on the re-read).
