I've been an avid reader for almost 3 years, and my choice of books tend to gravitate towards non-fiction, such as business, psychology, history and medicine.
My friend is strongly recommending me to give fiction a try. At first, I was a little resistant because I tend to like how non-fiction is grounded to real life. However, after giving "Nightingale" and "The Martian" a go, I am making more time for the genre.
Hope I get to learn a thing or two in this group. Glad to be here!

Hi Nazrul :)
non-fiction is my favourite genre also, but there's some good fiction out there :)
Hope you'll find the right book for you :)

Thanks, SerialReader! Hope to stumble upon more fiction masterpieces! If you have anything to recommend off the top of your head, be my guest ;)

Hi
I like lots of different types of books but lately tend to read more nonfiction.
I am a mood - reader I guess , so it all depends on the day as to what I might be reading.
I have been looking for a group that is busy but not one that has several thousand members. Those are hard to fit into.
Looking forward to meeting new people in here.

There's just something about the way that all those stand-alone stories really do contribute to a whole timeline for those who care enough to look deeply into such things that makes the series incredible reading and re-reading. But I suppose given that the stories are still be reprinted today (and the term long since entered into common parlance - by smart***es and otherwise) it should come as no surprise.
Moriarty still stands as one of the best villains ever put to paper, and he only appears in one episode...
