SOLVED. Kids in a video game must kill a dragon [s]

Hello!

I remember reading this one book a couple of years ago. Unfortunately, I recall very little except several specific details.

I *think* they were teenagers who were playing a video game.

*SPOILER ALERT*
The one large detail I remember is that the protagonist and his friends had to kill a dragon. The dragon was a very difficult opponent but only attacked whoever dealt the most damage. The protagonists set up a situation in which they would take turns shooting arrows at the dragon, causing it to constantly bounce between the players, never attacking anyone.

I remember nothing else.
