You may not have noticed that Orwell has a photo on Goodreads. Be sure to include the author photo when it is available:

'Aussie Rick' (aussierick) Hi Alisa, I hope you do enjoy both the book and the author's talk. It's always great to hear the writer talk about his book and the inspiration behind the project. I've just picked up and started to read; "No True Glory" by Bing West.

I read the Gutenberg download. This book gives a glimpse of life in the trenches and no mans land. Tries for the heroic face some "politically incorrect language" published in 1918 while the war was still on.

Most were published in the Stars and Stripes (military newspaper) Very short and a Gutenberg Project book.

It's very much an academic read, however. Makes for slower reading because of the use of language and the style.

Chaynyth (yknots) Just starting into False Economy by Alan Beattie by Alan Beattie Alan Beattie, which I picked up (strangely enough) at a grocery store's "bargain books" bin. It looked interesting enough to snag at discount price.

Going well so far, I didn't have a lot of background in Argentine history so the first chapter has been giving me lots of food for thought. :)

I'm interested to see what the author does with communistic/socialist economies when he gets to them. I'm really enjoying the premise that there are choices along the path of history and frequently those choices aren't as clear as we like to make them in hindsight. ;)

I think you are going to love this book. I am 43 pages into it and totally hooked. Yes, cheering on the hometeam is often painful in Seattle and with the Mariners it is a study in disappointment with occasional flashes of brilliance (Felix Hernandez, last year's Cy Young award winner for example. Or Ichiro, who I think is an athletic genius.) We are off to a dismal start this year. But in baseball there is hope!

Krystal, I see I missed one. Please add all three segments when citing any book (bookcover, author's photo and always the author's link which is the author's name in linkable text)

You have to go back in to the author's tab and first add photo and then add link. You seem to have a handle on how to add the bookcover now.
