The book was printed in Britain during the war and it is amazing how they printed in tiny text and the paper was really thin. It isn't on the system unfortunately so I can't add it
I pasted a tiny extract on my profile about Churchill
Stuart wrote: "Currently reading in the meantime by Howard Spring. It is a mid career autobiography by a writer who started at the age of 42, his 3rd book called My son My son sold over a million copies. I select..."
Hi STuart, sounds terrific. If you want - and have the time - you can add it to the system yourself. There is a link called "add books manually" when you search for the book on the site but can't find it.
You just put in what you have. Writer, Publisher, Edition, ISBN - if available.
That way others who are interested would be able to find it.
ANyway, sounds terrific!!!
Best,
André

Thanks Alisa for assisting Stuart. Stuart we have a precise way of using the goodreads software which is beneficial to our site, our group members, and our authors. Please take a moment to become familiarized with our methodology.
We have a folder called Help Desk and within that folder is a thread called Mechanics of the Board which should help you I hope.

lol, yes, I just checked out the Intro thread and was grateful to you for showing me how you'd like my reads posted.
One thing, in my three books before, it is a different Corsair..."
Thanks for fixing it! That is one of the big reasons we like everyone to reference their books with the given format, so there is no confusion. Plus, it looks cool. :)

[bookcover:Red Sun Rising: The Siege of ..."
Ithink I have that one in storage. If I remember correctly it is pretty good.

Winston S. Churchill
Stuart, you have the photo and Winston Churchill in text; but no bookcover or author noted for the new book. What is the book's name and who was the author?
Churchill was never one to let the other get the upper hand.

Thank you very much Stuart; Goodreads does not have everything listed - that is where one of our librarians may be able to help and find it. They might be able to have it added so we can give it its due.
With the information that you have kindly provided; that might be possible.

Churchill By His Contemporaries(no cover) edited by CHARLES EADE
It may take a bit before it is indexed to show up with a search.
Some progress Elizabeth S; thank you. And Stuart if you have any other details; please let Elizabeth know so she can add them.

The deadly super-spy from IRON MAN 2, INVINCIBLE IRON MAN and CAPTAIN AMERICA in her own action-packed tale! Natasha Romanoff is not a super hero. And yet as the Black Widow, she manages to hold her own against a world of incredibly powerful enemies and allies. But now someone has tried to kill Natasha and almost succeeded. Now she sets out to find her attacker with no suspects and no leads. Who could be deadly enough to get the drop on Natasha?
Great storyline with terrific illustrations

Thanks for your note.

A fast paced YA adventure by the author of the Eagle series - of which this is the first:

I am also finishing The Chocolate War for a YA literature course, but am not enjoying it much. (Though I will say that Cormier is a fantastic storyteller...)

I liked this outlook on life's difficulties.
One must never forget when misfortunes come, that it is quite possible they are saving one from something much worse; or that when you make some great mistake, it may very easily serve you better than the best-advised decision. Life is a whole, and luck is a whole, and no part of them can be separated from the rest.

Excellent quote Stuart.
Stuart, I just noticed something about your citation; Churchill's name in linkable text is missing and you cited the book by using the link versus the book cover which I know is available. You do have the author's photo correct.
The citation should look like this:

Hello Phil,
Let me help you with your citations. We have rules and guidelines regarding these:
by Richard Chizmar
Frances Moore Lappé
In the case of both of the above books, there was no author's photo available so only two of the three parts were available.
Remember for every citation there should be three parts when they are all available. If one of them is not; just indicate that in your citation.
Book cover, author's photo, and the author's name in text which is linkable.
Thanks.
Bentley
PS: Have you introduced yourself on the introduction thread?
Here is the introduction thread:

I only ask that because usually for all new members we help them out and give them some great links to useful group site info.

There is some history in this book but not a great amount. It is hard to describe, more of a literature, love letter to the Atlantic. Interesting at times but doesn't really have a theme. I gave it two stars.
