10.3. "Young Girl Reading"
I read The Girl in the Red Coat by Kate Hamer, matching "Girl" in the title to the painting "Young Girl Reading" (1895).

30.2 - Jonquil's task: You think you saw what?
Book 1: I chose the fourth image, Camille Pissarro by Christoph Becker , which looks very idyllic and pastoral, a scene implied by the term "arcadia", so I read Arcadia by Iain Pears.
** Arcadia is 528 pages long, I'd like to claim ONE Big Book ticket**
Book 2: I chose the last image, Cezanne by Stefania Lapenta , which is a still life with no meat in it and could probably found in any vegetarian's house, so I read The Vegetarian by Han Kang.

Catie | 185 comments 5.10 - Pont Boieldieu in Rouen, Rainy Weather by Camille Pissarro

Read a book of your choice.

The Secret Museum - Molly Oldfield

Just to confirm, although this looks like it ought to be a coffee table art book, it is predominantly text, certainly more than 100 pages of text (indeed, many of the reviews comment on the fact that the pictures are very small, and confined to the margins)

Lola | 283 comments 30.7 - Catherine T's task: A New Start in Art

This is a TWO book task. Choose from 2 different options below.

Because this is a new start, both books must be new to you, not rereads. And because it's a job, one must be non-fiction.

Required: State that both books are new to you and which options you chose when you post.

I chose options 2 and 3:

2. Great Building:
Read a book where the page numbers can be found in any combination of those figures (46,396; 6; 2,000) Ex: 263 pages, 300 pages, 436 pages, etc.

I read H is for Hawk. This book is 320 pages. It is new to me and is non-fiction.

3. Great Location.
Read a book in which the first letter of each word in the title can be found in Trafalgar Square:

The Fishermen

T and F are both in Trafalgar
This book is new to me.
