I think it's great that you are posting here, Sonya. I belong to a ton of groups, but essentially only post here for the same reason. Here, I talk my head off.

I'm sorry for your uncle Kirsten. PTSD was not well recognized and Vietnam vets were not given much treatment for it. Haunted my brother terribly.

Happy Crayola Crayon Day!
It's April! April's flower is the daisy and the sweet pea
The birthstone for April is the diamond and the white sapphire.
Did you know the moon this month can also be called the Egg Moon, the Grass Moon, or the Hare Moon?
Did you know the world April means "open"?
This month in history:
The dollar sign ($) was invented in 1778
The Great San Francisco Earthquake struck in 1906
The zipper was patented in 1913.
That's really interesting, Kirsten. Can you do the same for the beginning of each month? Especially November ;))
Thanks, Kirsten, for the lists you do every day too. It's fun! Happy Crayola Crayon Day! (Have they renamed "flesh" yet? I really hope they have.)

I hung clothes lines across the boys rooms last night and hung all their dirty clothes over it. :D Nothing like getting smacked in the face with a dirty sock. Anyone pull any pranks today? :o)

That is so funny! I held off on jokes this year. Last year I told a dear friend of mine that I was pregnant on April Fools day. Needless to say he about had a heart attack. At our age babies are grown not being born unless they are grand babes.
Just clicked onto GR on phone, it's had a completely new facelift. Considering how often I click on, was a bit of a shock!! Anyone else noticed yet?
Janet wrote: "Just clicked onto GR on phone, it's had a completely new facelift. Considering how often I click on, was a bit of a shock!! Anyone else noticed yet?"I noticed Amazon.com had a retro look until I clicked in the search box!

Haven't noticed any change in Amazon.
Jenni, Goodreads could be rolling out the new look a bit at a time.

As we're all in different parts of the world, different time zones, I wasn't sure if the post was an April Fools joke to make us go look, which I did. :)
Google has a good one regarding google smartbox. Also you can change the google map to play a pacmac game.

Same here with Amazon. I was lost for a bit. Goodreads has been different too. Top that off the Overlook App the libraries use for digital media updated and looks so different. Beginning to think the internet is out to fry my brain.
I don't watch a lot of TV but I turn on the HGTV channel a lot, something in the background. Interesting to see what other countries are like. Really shocked at rental prices though compared to the U.S.A. Currently a couple is looking for a home and their rental budget is $3,300 per month. That is 4.4 x my income. I don't see how people can afford it.
Not sure how I feel about this new look for Goodreads... time will tell.I hope everyone has been well :) I've been suffering from the flu over the last week but am on the mend now.
Sorry to hear Kerry. I've had a cycle w/ colds, since I moved back to Southern Il. My cat then gets my cold and politely returns it to me.Hope you feel better soon.

this will mean nothing to anyone but me but I am on a high from crossfit tonight. it was a cracking workout and I pushed myself really really hard to get through the workout which was four rounds for time and I completed it in just over 22 mins :)we had also done a strength work out prior to that to find our one rep max on power clean. the big thing for me is that when I got home I checked my book that I keep a record of all my workouts and max results and discovered that my last max for this was 37.5kg and tonight I maxed out at 47.5kg
given that I was out for over three months due to injury and struggled to get motivated and back to it this is a mega achievement for me :D so am doing a happy dance lol or I would be if I could still stand!!
I don't really know what it all means Sharon but it sounds AMAZING!! You must be so fit, I feel weak just reading about it lol. You must be really pleased at your progress.
yeah not often I give myself a pat on the back but tonight I deserve one I think lol I was in such a bad place with myself a wee while ago and I really did consider not going back to crossfit and I knew I was going to be taking a huge step back in fitness and strength so to be able to do that tonight made me very happy
