My wife and I enjoyed the meal tonight.

Tomorrow, up early and out for tennis.

My doubles partner and myself, are playing singles and doubles versus the number 1 and 2 ladies.

Singles points against each girl, then finish with a doubles match for 2-4 hours.

Then I guess I better stay at home for the rest of the day, as nice to spend some time with my wife on our anniversary !!..LOL

The girls we are playing have spent a year training, playing singles, doubles and mixed, circuit training, fitness training, speed training, ready for the island games that start in August and are in Jersey,

So tough for us oldies, Frank my doubles partner is 60 years old, me 57 years old, against two girls in their mid 30's. !!

Sharon you will know the tough training they are doing.

I do weight training at home, plus tennis, walking and gardening help me keep fit, but tough when your opponents are younger and fitter.

I was changing meds this week and even though I would get almost 10 hours of sleep at night, I would feel deep, down in my bones tired. Almost too tired to speak. I would often not eat. It was awful. We finally gave up on trying to change the medicine! So I know how you feel!

I have my nose pierced! I did it for my 30th birthday. I decided to do something while I was still 30, and I did it! It is not permanent, and it looks cute as can be. I wear a glass one for work so they do not say anything about it.

yeah its hard! when you are trying to keep up with 15/16 year olds its not easy and when the playing surface is so fast as well its a bad combination! i am not the fastest runner at the best of times but i have to say i have improved over the season

Bet it looks cute, Autumn, a little glass one. I think they can look fab. Sorry your meds aren't working but I can't remember if you've ever said what they're for?! PM me if you want to keep it private, if you want to say at all, obviously!!

Kerry Hunter (kerryelizabeth) E. wrote: "Kerry, how did you get connected to a cat from Bulgaria?"

My friend, Lynn, runs a charity helping animals from abroad and she is friends with the charity I got my kitty from that works in Bulgaria. So basically I'm part of a big connected rescue mission that helps both cats and dogs overseas.

Also. I'm covered in tattoos and piercings. I have 16 piercings but have had over thirty, and am planning 70% coverage for tattoos. Yep.

I had to look up stone and that equals 14 pounds. I've been walking and changed my diet. Lost 35 pounds ( about 2 and a half stone) and it has made a great change in how I feel. I still am amazed you can push yourself that hard.

Is "tough mudder" a running competition through mud? My cousin does this with a group of friends. She posted pics on Facebook. Looked like they enjoyed themselves.

Ter'e Crow Lindsay (terecrow) | 798 comments Boy, the tattoo owners sure are quiet.........I guess I better speak up.
I have two tattoo's. A small gecko on one of my toes.......and I wear a silver toe ring on the first joint of my toe. My dau and I got our tattoo's in Cayman and we love them.
Then a year and a half ago.......I got a beautiful crow on the left side of my chest. Not my breast.......my chest. His wings look like he is offering comfort and he wears a fedora. The fedora was actually shrunk down from a photo of my dad. On the days I feel like I need a little strength, I put my hand over my heart.......and I know my Dad is with me.
Crazy???? Maybe a bit. He died when I was 10. I love the symbol for which it stands.
Most people are very complimentary over my ink...........I love it........and, afterall, I'm the one that matters. My dad's spirit is always close.
Sean..........I hope you still love me. LOL. I do have a terrifically big heart.

I know the clocks went forward here!!

But as I knew I was playing a tennis match at 10.00 a.m, I like to be up early to have breakfast, very hot shower to warm the muscles, a few warm stretches/ exercises.

I woke up at 7.00 a.m, silly bugger.

But brought my wife a cup of tea, at 9.00 and said " Happy Anniversary".

Off to tennis 10 minutes

Thanks.

I did make her a cup of tea in bed, before I left for tennis....LOl

Only played three hours.

My partner and I want the most points in singles against the girls. They won the doubles match !

6-3 3-6 7-5 close.

We had a nice meal our last night, and bought ourselves a new settee, so both happy.

tough mudder is a mad obstacle course that results in a lot of mud being run through. its not really a competition but more a team building type thing lol

the official definition:

Tough Mudder is a team-oriented 10-12 mile (18-20 km) obstacle course designed to test physical strength and mental grit. Tough Mudder puts camaraderie over finisher rankings and is not a timed race but a team challenge that allows participants to experience exhilarating, yet safe, world-class obstacles they won't find anywhere else.
