Throw in a steak dinner and the air fare, D A, and you're on. I'll bring the paint brush.

Wow, you must be pretty handy, David. I'm impressed. I have no "handy" genes.

I only travel by helicopter for decorating jobs; very exclusive ;~)
David, you beat me to the punch with your "plastered" line! Hard to plaster when you're plastered, I imagine (or do any other project well, for that matter, although some DIY-ers final results rather look like they've been imbibing while working. Yikes!) Anyway, I'm impressed, David.

Laughing my butt off!! Me too! I'll be heading to the loo and I get detoured by my children, my dog, my book, company arriving, a phone call. It's never ending. I love it when dogs are like us, don't you? Thanks for that laugh. :D
its the last game of the season tomorrow and from the team sheet am having a small change in position for the game :) that doesn't mean I will be doing no exercise over a weekend - it means instead I will be back doing crossfit on a Friday night and hopefully out on the bike on the Saturday morning :D:D
My children are 17 now and I'm ever thankful they are not talking piercings and tattoos at all! They like the fake ones once in a while and will dye their hair blue or red come 'wacky' day at school but other than that, they enjoy their looks without all the added ink and metal. Should they ever decide to change their mind, I'm hoping they are small, scarce and discreet.

Mine's falling apart! ..Wait, I meant, I wish my body wasn't falling apart so I could be as active as you are. I used to be. *sigh* :D
I wouldn't say mine was in that great a condition lol I just work around it and do what I can :) I try to do something every day and during the week I try and walk to work from the train station and then back after it
My son got his first tattoo. Tastefully done he researched local artists and went to the guy marked top artist in his city. He got a small tattoo of his graduation date (in Roman numerals) on his ankle. He works for a law firm and he can cover it up. I know some of you have mentioned having diabetes and I do too. I've seen wrist tattoos of a medical alert bracelet in case you are not wearing one at the time. I'm considering this or something similar. But, I've seen some other beautiful works as art for whatever reason.
Ha! I'll need someone to mix, Gopal. You're right, Jean, only tea is drunk while DIYing.
Sharon, you must have some stamina; Just reading your workouts makes me tired.

They do have a sterling silver one I could wear but the cost is quite a bit. I keep forgetting about it until I see someone mention it. I need to start saving. There are entirely to many things I need to save for. lol
I've got 2 bracelets to wear. Just forget them sometimes. But, I'm not allergic to metal so no problem for me.Everything costs too much these days!!

Today my wife and I treated ourselves to a new corner unit settee, and new oak flooring for our hallway, landing and lounge.
Celebrating paying off most of our mortgage off, rest by the end of the year (one part mortgage , one part loan).
Also celebrating our 35 years wedding anniversary tomorrow. 29th March 1980 married, where have all the years gone!
Ironically the young polish lady who served us at the furniture show was 35 years old tomorrow !!
Plus I knew the owners and he gave me 10% off, so happy.

Sean, congratulations on your anniversary and mortgage!! You are going to France for the day? Hmmm. Think I'll do a day trip to South Dakota, lol.
We are only one hour away by boat, Condor Ferry, to the beautiful historic walled city of St Malo.
In a weeks time our firm, pay for our group to go my fast speedboat rib, to go for an evening meal to Carteret in France, 20 minutes by rib !!
Takes a lot longer to go to the UK.
