Jenni Boyd | 152 comments WARNING!! This post most likely won't appeal to the men, or those without children. My advanced apologies if I should have started a new post, please move if required, BUT my daughter's best friend, who is like a daughter to me, asked me. "Hubby is away tonight, junior has gone to bed early, what do I do?" I told her to first have a long soak in a hot bath, perhaps a glass of wine to help you unwind, then watch the movie you've always wanted to watch, the chick flick that hubby would hate, and make sure you have lots of naughty but oh so yummy snacks to eat, and then be like a starfish, and enjoy every inch of the bed! If you were asked this question, what would have been your response?

But then, you will see the tired bags, under my eyes, from running after this house, trying to keep it spotless for Realtor showings. I am freaking exhausted!!!!! My bags will show for sure. I am tired of hiding things we live with, on a daily basis, and steaming these d______ floors. Tomorrow we have another showing. Today I will waste all day, cleaning, shining, steaming........ugh.........I want this thing to be sold!!!!! I want to be normal again. I want to lounge in my jamies, drinking my delicious coffee and reading whenever I want.

PLEASE..........someone come and buy this house!!!!!!!

Ter'e Crow Lindsay (terecrow) | 798 comments Ok Ok Ok........will get the picture changed asap. Just hopped out of the shower and did not wash this mop! LOL. Trying to rush to P.O. And mail gifts and cards today and there is a neighborhood garage sale. I am a total sucker for a garage sale. Love them!!!!!

Little Blu had all her hair cut off and, I swear, she looks so dang cute. My groomer did the latest Asian cut..........complete with braided tail. Oh my, too cute. Wish I could transfer cell pix onto my personal page. Can that be done??????

The other thing I have to mention.......I have two Sand Cranes that live behind our house. I can hand feed them.......so you know, I like them too much. Well, they had babies this past week. First thing Mom and Dad Birdie did, was bring the babies up to me. They are rust in color and a tiny bit bigger than a baby chickie. So cute!!!!!! I love anything that has feathers or fur and doesn't borrow money. LOL.

I know some of you might have noticed our date for Stacy Green... April 6th.

It is Easter Monday, but if that is the date Stacy Green was happy with I was not going to say anything.

Not sure if a good thing or bad thing.

We will all be off and able to pop in to the threads, if not away.

I have family over for Easter but will be in and out, and have a few days off work as well.

I am with you, completely. I love Sour Dough the best.
When I have a little windfall of cash........(thats a joke).........once in awhile I will order some Boudin Bread from SF, CA. Nothing in the world like San Francisco sourdough.
MMMMMMMMM I also love ordering their "bread bowls" and filling it up with their chowder.
Man, I miss SF.

message 4235: by Kirsten (new)

Kirsten (kmcripn) We were visiting my family down in the Bay Area one year. When we were on our way back, we followed a bread truck to a local grocery store. My parents took all the bread off the shelf as he put them down! We were snacking on that bread all the way home to Washington!

message 4239: by Ter'e (new)

Ter'e Crow Lindsay (terecrow) | 798 comments Kirsten,
A few years ago, my daughters and I went to SF. I flew in from AL and they flew in from KC, MO.

One of our first stops was to buy some Boudin bread, a sharp knife and a case of wine. Oh yeh, and some Gallo Salami. Every place we went, we had a little wine party goin on. I have never laughed to hard in my life. Of course, my daughters are characters!!!!!!

We drove all over the SF area and went to meet my half brother, who I had not seen in about 35 years!!!!! Rays and my faher had been a Saloon Owner........so we came armed with all the fixings to make margaritas. Ray had never had margs my way!!!!! LOL. It was the trip of a lifetime. Marvelous memories.

Kath Middleton | 235 comments I love kidneys, simply fried and served on toast.
Favourite English dish is - it's a toss-up between sausage and mash or shepherd's pie - minced lamb with a mashed potato topping. I'm seeing a theme here. I love mashed potato!
