Elaine, that is really good to know. A few times I have paid for a book that is on Net Galley just to not take on the pressure of a timely review.

Ok. I have Netgalley reads from months ago, long after they've been archived, I still read and review them. Read Now is ok but very rarely find great titles there. Don't pressure yourself, books sell all the time, positive reviews betters the odds of sales, obviously. And publishers prefer if you review on Amazon more than anywhere else. I post the same review on GR, Amazon and Booklikes.

Christine (clt04) | 4838 comments I wonder if they are not tougher in the US? Anyone know?

Didn't you say though that the Net Galley cops have been after you a bit, Janet?

Had an email once asking if all was ok because I had had a lot of approvals and hadn't done much feedback. Much better now. In the beginning I requested a lot, never expected to as many approvals as I did.

Congrats, Ty, on your no. 1 position in the US.

Ty Patterson | 401 comments Janet wrote: "Congrats, Ty, on your no. 1 position in the US."

Thank you. Much as I would like to raise one in toast, it's no 1 only on the free list.

Still, a number 1 is a number 1 I suppose.

Ty Patterson | 401 comments Christine wrote: "There has to be a way to clean up the cloud, right?"

Chris,

Go to Amazon -> my account -> manage content.

On the left hand side you will see boxes and if you click on a title box it will give you the option to delete.

This will delete from the cloud too.

But be warned, if you buy the same title again, you will have to pay for it

The return option on Amazon is a double edged sword since it can get misused and that hurts authors.

Know the feeling Sharon.

After 2-3 weeks resting from a bad virus, played on Sunday, three sets of doubles, was a little stiff for two days.(lost 6-3 3-6 6-3)

Played three tight sets yesterday, again a little stiff, although won 4-6 7-5 7-6 (7 points to 5)

Sunday morning will be my first singles this year !

Need to get my fitness back and it is harder when you get older.

Next month will be the start of all the leagues.

Monday is men's night, Thursday is external league.

Wednesday night is on a private court on a hard court in spring, then grass in the summer.

Although still struggling with the virus, how is your cold/virus now
