Chris, that's great news about your Dad! Here's to continued improvement. Sue, those muffins sound delish. Janet, chocolate helps you sleep (wink).
Sue wrote: "Sorry Marian...but the counter is full of cooked food! Come and enjoy!"I will come, Sue, in a snap. Good grief the things you made sound awesome@
I like dark chocolate, and once in awhile, I have a piece; I am more inclined to chomp down on a muffin, scone or pumpkin ---I also adore caramel, but I need to ask---what is an chocolate orange segment?
If you google Terry's Chocolate Orange - hopefully there should be images.
It's a chocolate ball with orange flavouring that comes as segments like an orange. So it's a chocolate play on an orange.

Or do you mean pumpkin scones? My mother made the best scones I ever tasted (and I have eaten a lot of scones). She always used full octane cream-- yum!

Red Velvet cake was around in the US when I was a kid. Now the muffins are the rage. You should try one, Marian--guaranteed delish!
Are there Bruegger's Bagel stores in GB or Canada? Superb bagals. Our neighborhood store is serving free coffee until 2:00 today. Shaping up to be a bagal day!

Feeling overwhelmed and extra tired. Working a new job, taking care of three kids and starting our own business. All too much at once. OH, and every other day I have a 4th child(my nephew)

I don't know where the discussion on jumpers is, but I just wanted to say that I am so looking forward to going out today because I have a new raspberry boucle knit long jumper to wear!
Sounds really nice Elaine! I love this time of year, knitwear, jumpers and boots!! :)
Yeah I love getting all cosied up to go out. Then at night, as soon as dishes are done, its on with pjs and dressing gown onto the sofa under the blankies :D
Snap snap!!!! :-)))) pjs, blanket, cuppa and of course my kindle!! And it's Friday night so it's takeaway night! No cooking!! Woohoo!!

I'm feeling so upset right now! A lunatic driver zooms by us in our car doing 70mph in a 30 zone!! Nearly went into the side of our car and worst of ran over a poor kitty ... The poor thing was thrashing about in agony but quickly died.. Managed to return him to his owner. Wish I had got a number plate for that car!!! Sorry to download to you all , had a good cry! :'(
I know... The car was going so fast it all happened so quickly. My partner said that the bloke was an idiot though because apparently he had just driven through some cameras we'd just passed... So I'm praying they got him!!!
So sorry for you Kimberley to go through that. Anyone that kills/injures an animal should be strung up!
Totally agree Sue. I feel so sorry for the kitty's family, they will be utterly heartbroken. I came straight home and gave my dog a massive cuddle.
I know Kimberley. We love our 2 Labs like our children. Anyone tries!!! to hurt our dogs...and they are dust!
