Hi Christine!
By following authors. I got lucky and became friends with a crime fiction afficionado. She really knows her stuff. Through her I got to know some authors and it's carried on from there, to get me where I am now. Authors in turn get to know who's who too, and relationships build. It's pretty good. I just wish I could go along to a couple of the big festivals and the book launches I get invited to. Would be fab! *said wistfully*

Wow, how cool, Janet! I hope that someday you will actually be able to attend one of those festivals. That would be one of those once in a lifetime experiences, I'm sure.
Chris
Is it just me or does it seem particularly quiet in Goodreads these days? I'm pretty sure it's got to do w/ the weather (it IS summer after all!) & it's not always possible to get wifi on the beach! ;p I hope everyone is having an awesome summer!!
Yes weather very hot, outdoors more, tennis more gardening.
Here in the UK a little cooler in a few days time.
Wimbledon on as well.
Do not really watch the football now England out, although playing one more match, but cannot qualify.

Hey everyone!! It's a slow day over here for me. Got a lot to do and never enough time to finish it all.
Oh well it's gone from lovely sunshine to biblical rain within minutes, can't beat a British summer.
Christine, I suppose it's good for the garden that's if you like gardening which most of the time I don't haha.
Hey Chris, not much. Just been busy reading and stuff and excited about this authors Night of the storytellers show I'll be on Saturday night on blogtalkradio called Charred Remains to promote my AbyssFantastical web serial with a prerecorded audio reading I did for it. I'm premiering chapter 4 of the sequel to it that day too.

The Host is going to update the photo slideshow on the link soon with all of our cover photos for our works and mine for the AF was made from an online banner making website.

Today I'm getting ready to finish a Read for Review Request called As Above So Below by Loren Rhoads which is a pretty good paranormal romance so I can review it later today on gr then get to the others plus a new one. Finally Finished the ask and the answer which I liked but was slow going and I'll read the final book of the chaos walkers series at a later time. I also hope to get my movie review written for my fb page on Saturday of the film Barefoot then edit and get ready to post Chapter 4 dark descent for Saturday and am going to call into the night of the storytellers show on Saturday to answer any questions on the AF after my 3 minute prerecorded audio reading of it that night. Should be fun. :)

Awesome Amber! I've been MIA lately so could you give me a suggestion on one of your works to familiarize myself? Oh for Pete's sakes! Tell me what to read darn it! ;)
Sure Terri. This is what will be the group read with it. It's called the AbyssFantastical and its a Young Adult Horror Fantasy web serial I wrote from February to May of this year a chapter a week until I finished it on goodreads. Go here to read it and enjoy. The villain in it is inspired by Robert Englund and I did a live reading of it on a friends online radio show recently which I was nervous for but did well for the Charred Remains Night of the Storytellers 2 show on Blogtalkradio.I'm working on the sequel now which is set 5 years after the first one:The AbyssFantastical A YA Horror Fantasy web serial
