I'm about 2.5 hours from the ocean. 30 mins from the Potomac River and the Chesapeake Bay and 5 mins from the Patuxent River. I'm a water baby for sure!! I don't think I could live somewhere where I couldn't get to water in a couple of hours time.

You are so lucky, Lorrea. When I was a kid, we would spend 2 weeks each summer with my grandparents in Queens, Long Island. My brother and I made many trips to Jones and Rockaway Beaches. We loved the ocean. In Rochester here we have a manmade lake. LOL. We do however have the great Mississippi River 45 min away and of course the other 10,000 lakes throughout the state.

Nothing is like the ocean though. Even though we live b beaches here we usually travel to go to the beach. I haven't actually been to the beach in Maryland since the '90s

No we didn't, we just took her to eat at mexican. I have a cousin that sees his dad every weekend that comes to church with us and he's like 10 and he's always sick with something and he gets me sick, Lorrea. This is the 2nd time I've been sick in a month.
