It has been a while since I went to a book fair (because of covid-19). Therefore, I was glad when an international book fair started yesterday.

Unfortunately, most books weren't in English, but I managed to find a corner that sells English novels.

I forgot to send you a message back - sorry. But I thought that was a wonderful message. Very sweet. I think this is the only group that does that too as I belong to some other groups and they don't send out heart warming wishes to their members around the holidays.

Too bad you lose a few members but it happens I suppose. Not sure why either but it is their loss. They ought to be happy that someone cares is my opinion on it. :)

One thing for sure. Since I have retired in September my reading has slowed up.

I thought I would read more, but I read less.

December, only on my second book, think I will be lucky to reach 60 books, my total last couple of years has been between 70-75 books.

So life is much busier, I know one thing I hardly stop in the day time to read, especially in the winter.

Summer I might go outside and read, winter kept busy in the house or other things.

Hopefully a great 2022 for us all

My reading has slowed down too for this month - normally I am reading like crazy, but I just haven't been up to reading tons of books. It almost is like the year is winding down and so am I! I feel like an old dusty clock that has seen its last days! lol

Maybe I need new batteries or something! lol

I completely understand that! When I am on vacation I always think I will get so much reading done, then it's over and I haven't. I guess it's good that we can be busy in other ways, but I still wish I read a bit more.
