Sean, our pets mean so much to us and we love them deeply. I’m very sorry about Buddy. You gave him his best life. I’m sure he loved you and trusted you to the end. He will always be in your heart.

I'm so sorry to hear this, I too had to make that decision not long ago when I had to say goodbye to my 14-year-old cat named Tiamat.

That does sound like a scam - I checked out that link you provided and found out she is friends with about 20 of my friends. I do see that she has no ratings or reviews either, but she just joined Goodreads this month. She shouldn't be asking personal questions so I would report her too.
