Yes, Perri, they interviewed a few of us from the group. I'd forgotten about it!!

Hi

Yes correct, They are still members, and they do stay in touch. In fact they, at the time noticed, privately to me how shocked they were about Amber, and how well Janet and myself dealt with her.

They regarded our group as one of the best online books clubs and did lots of research.

Have contacted me about the release of the book.

I have heard about your heatwave. It is about 85 here but the humidity is around 60%. Here in So. California we are accustomed to dry heat.

How hot is it there?

Lynn Renee | 1708 comments Needless to say my home has been busy busy busy this past week. Last Saturday I picked up a new puppy to begin training as my next service dog. His name is Hamish and turned 9 weeks old today. Hamish is one little fuzzy ball of Labradoodle energy. My current dog Otto is 12.5 years old and has been having a few issues realizing that he needs to share now. Things are going great so far. I will admit to taking a quick nap when Hamish decides to take one. 🤣 I’ve posted some pictures on my Instagram @dream_weaver.13 if you want to check them out. I have a hard time taking pictures of fast moving objects though 📸.

There is an interesting book Unstoppable Global Warming: Every 1,500 Years: Every 1500 Years by Dennis T. Avery I heard an interview with him a few years ago where he discussed a heatwave during the Roman Period in England. In fact, he traced the production of wine during that time since the warm weather was perfect for the cultivation of grapes.

The more I read - the more I learn.

Lorrea - WhatChaReadin'? (whatchatreadin) LAST CALL FOR BOOK PALS

For those who are not familiar, Book Pals is like a Buddy read, but it's just between 2 people. You two decide which book or books you are going to read. You can either read the same book, or you can each pick different books (maybe one you've read and loved that is on your Pals TBR) and then you guys discuss the books together. We have a feed for you to share your thoughts with all of us, but that doesn't seem to be as popular. Right now we have 4 people signed up for what I'm calling "Goodbye to Summer -- BookPals"

Lynn Renee | 1708 comments Well, unfortunately I had to put my service dog to sleep last Friday. It was time, Otto was 12.5 years old and was experiencing a lot of pain with trouble getting up, down, and walking. I hated having to make the decision but he had a very peaceful and quiet passing. I’ve been so tired since his death, I keep waking up on and off all night long looking for Otto. He has slept in my bed for 12 years helping me with my pain by laying against me the pressure/weight of him along with his body heat being a Godsend. He will be greatly missed but lived a happy loved life. ❤️

I am so sorry for your loss, Lynn. Our animals are our children. They so much love. We lost one of our Lab brothers-Cocco (the red one in my Profile pictures) to bone cancer July 30th 2018. Now a year later, we think about him everyday, and miss him so much. His brother, the black Lab-Toro, also misses his brother, so we have to now take care of him. Toro is 10 years old and will be 11 in Oct. The years pass so quickly. I hope you find peace, but you know in your heart, you did the right thing, and not let him suffer. Peace and love. Sue

Today, celebrated my birthday, 61 years old !

Thanks for the birthday wishes on Facebook, had many.

My head thinks I am 25, my body feels 61 some days.

Especially as surgery on a hand on October 22nd, and some cancer moles removed, and to be moved shortly as well.

September 29th play tennis for Jersey, playing 6 to 9 sets of tennis in the one day.

Eight men and eight ladies, I play at number one for the men, and number 1 in the mixed.

Diabetes problems as well lately...

Playing Tennis next weekend for Jersey.

Also diabetes a little up and down as well.

Busy sorting out work for our final renovations in our home, downstairs new cloakroom, new flooring, new fittings, new decoration.
