Lynn Renee | 1708 comments Probably showing my age here, but... I don't think I will be purchasing the Soylent Milk Replacement that was just advertised on my GR homepage just now. 😲 Wonder how old the marketing staff are for this one.

Kirsten (kmcripn) I remember hearing an interview on NPR about the man who invented it. He said he figured he was wasting too much time eating that he could be spending working on his computer. *rolls eyes*

Sorry a little quite, so busy, and again health issues..

Awake all night last night with severe thigh, groin pain...

Ambulance came this morning and taken to A & E, in hospital 4/5 hours.. many tests yet again...

NO DVT, which the doctors are always worried about, and also diabetes problems...

Amber will know, but for two/four weeks told that my diabetes is getting much worse from 7.9 yearly to 12.9, and may have to go on insulin by the end of the year.

Also having treatment for arthritis in my neck, which is causing nerve damage on my neck, left shoulder and arm...

Also tennis elbow on the right arm...

Still working so hard, and trying to keep fit, playing tennis, but it gets harder with all the injuries and health problems..

I feel I cannot get any more exercise in, and told that it will now not make a difference and the pancreas is packing up..

This alone makes the sugars go up and you feel tired, weak and dizzy, then trying to keep up with my work and walking usually around 10 miles a day, lifting boxes and paper...

I recently had my best A1C test in years, Sean. Down to 9.8% from 14.5% 3-4 years ago.

Insulin's a big fat, cast iron mother humping pain in the ass! I've been on it for more than 20 years but I really feel sorry for those who have been insulin dependent since they were babies.

Praying your health stabilizes. My Mother just had to start insulin in the evening after a bout of pneumonia. She had been able to keep it under control with pills until recently, but it just kept increasing so it is insulin time. I'm just glad that she has accepted this. My Grandmother passed away after similar issues and refusing insulin. Mom is 82 and I hope to have her around for awhile longer. Heal quickly..

Slept better last night but on 8 pain killers a day and 4 anti inflammatories.

As well as all my diabetes tablets at the moment.

Amber Martingale I really hope this is on the set list later this month! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_mZEd... There's supposed to be a HEAD EAST concert here in Belleville, Illinois after the official Christmas tree lighting the day after Thanksgiving.

They'll be the THIRD major act to play Belleville since THE BEACH BOYS closed out the 2014 Belleville Bicentennial Birthday/Oktoberfest and JEFFERSON STARSHIP closing out the first night to THIS year's Oktoberfest.

Yesterday I said goodbye to

www.thestarsphots.com
and
www.craftytrace.com

I decided to cancel both, they took so much time, especially my site, which I had to update 3-4 a week(re deaths/birthdays etc..)

Plus with retirement in the next year or so, expensive to keep at £288.00 a year for each site.

Plus keeping the domain names yearly as well.

I love my Kindle Paperwhite. Light and so clear. I had cornea transplant surgery, so I need a Kindle that is clear. Had it for about a year now, no problems (amazon is the best if you do) and nice and clear. Sue
