lol... I recently received a text from my sister's phone that was a string of poo piles. I knew immediately that my great nephew (her grandson) must have been using her phone. Two days later I get another text apologizing because she had just found the text that Lex had sent. 😊

Lorrea - WhatChaReadin'? (whatchatreadin) Well, gang, I've been out of the loop for about a week now. Spending time with the kiddos for their spring break. We spent some time in Pennsylvania visiting Amish Country, Hershey Chocolate Factory and doing some spring shopping at the outlets.
Hubby bought us his and hers watches and overall a good time was had by all.

Now to look over my 100s of notifications and get caught up on my reviews.

Hi Everyone

Having massive problem at the moment, computer wise.

In the last week Windows 10 Microsoft updates have changed my whole computer, appearances.

Cannot find my photos(hundreds)my music, I tunes is empty.

My e-mails all disappeared, just everything , no passwords for
any sites, all gone.

So will be quite till all sorted out.

Had listed all my books for Pick It For Me , my votes for everyone.

But must sort out my computer

That's why you back everything up on a REMOVEABLE hard drive, Sean!

message 9276: by Amber (new)

Amber Martingale Me, either, Gail.

Yes I had backed everything that I could.

But it crashed the whole computer, could not connect to my e-drives.

Computer technician today spent an hour here, and repaired the problem, which is quite common.

A windows 10 updates, crashed and lost my profile...

He did get my computer back on, get to my three external drives and upload and repair the computer.

Only thing that was not backed up was my e-mails and contacts but went online to google to get e-mails back, and I have to find all my contacts again.

But music and photos were backed up, the most important

I tried the Keurig system. Mainly because you can get the apple cider drink year-round. But the machine died on me. So, I am staying with the French press system. Not as many parts to go wrong. (And I don't feel so bad about all those K-cups littering up the landfill.)

I use a Keurig and absolutely love it. I use the reusable pods for my coffee, so I am not filling a landfill. I also order from San Franscisco Bay if i do order coffee cups. Their one cup pods are recyclable allowing you to compost part of it.

One time I had a couple pods burst on me, I think it was caused by temperature differences. The pods has gotten cold while in my van and when I went to use it the dang things exploded. Since then, I have thought more about it and feel the temperature change could have caused it. Living by myself, it is so nice to have a freshly brewed cup of joe whenever I want one. Otherwise the coffee sits and I am drinking reheated coffee which is not the best.

Lynn Renee | 1708 comments Has anyone else had book numbers disappear from their total books read? I just added my books read for the year to double check and I am missing 12 books since this morning. I added a book finished and a new one started this morning at which time my total was 147 books read. Now it says 135. Somethings wonky. 😕

It has been the same here Sean. I try to dress for the weather but here in Erie PA we have a lot of wind which can make it very deceiving. The sun can be shining and you think it will be warm in the sun only to find the wind at 25 mph. Brrrrrrr

Well I found my lost read books. For some reason the finished dates just up and disappeared, leaving my book total off. A real PIA to have to go through all the read books looking for the ones suddenly missing dates. I always fill in this information so I can only guess that the gremlins have been at work on the Goodreads database today.
