That sounds like it would be good, Heather. Hope he likes it!

Great game of tennis tonight.
On our usual private court
My partner and myself won 4-6 7-5 11-9 , 3 hours straight from work, so just back, what a close game.
Pleased to service for the match and win.

Jean - God bless you were the one to bring this up!!! And Ter'e I finally caught on but when you mentioned a camp for hookers! my mind ran to the gutter. Had a good laugh at my ignorance!

Are you taking orders? I would like a dozen? any flavor?

Are you taking orders? I would like a dozen? any flavor?"
My husband was buying plain English Scones at the grocery store all the time, and we both like them. I told him I can make them. My recipe calls for raisins, but I made them plain, and so simple and fast. Doubled the recipe and it made 18. Next time I will add a little cheddar cheese to the dough, for a change.

OK..I have to ask…what is hooking camp? I may need some help out of the gutter here, lol.
Back from a dental cleaning and they made me wait 45 minutes "past" my appointment. I hate hate doctors and dentists. I put a call in to my doctor to ask a question. She wants me to do a re test. I left a message last Thursday….still have not heard back. The medical in the US is atrocious. OK rant over.
I'm off to mow the lawns.

Ter'e can you help us out???

I thought the same AS YOU PAT, UNTIL I REMEMBER THAT SHE HOOKS RUGS AND IS VERY GOOD AT IT.

Yes, I made them plain, so they are less fattening, and then you can put some homemade jam on them.

I make my own scones; I have one for lemon ones and they are delicious. I think homemade tastes much better.
I tried to mow the lawn but ran out of gas, and it's half done (story of my life) Now I have to wait until I can get to the gas station. I'm trying to get everything done before the weekend!

Ha ha! Gag. Not cheese, cream. Very thick cream, as used for cream teas in the UK.

Bit of work to do yet, but from my perspective, that's the hard part completed :~)

LOL, I was wondering the same thing Christine. I wasn't thinking cottage cheese though. I'm not sure what I was thinking but the "clotted" brings to mind blood or curdled milk. Yuck!

Congratulations David!!!! You must feel really good right about now.

Clotted cream (sometimes called scalded, clouted, Devonshire or Cornish cream) is a thick cream made by indirectly heating full-cream cow's milk using steam or a water bath and then leaving it in shallow pans to cool slowly. During this time, the cream content rises to the surface and forms 'clots' or 'clouts'

You a fan, too, Sharon?

Ha! A little treat goes a long way :~)

you're killing me with the description, Sharon!

Congratulations David on finishing your work!

I just like them right out of the oven warm, with butter and sometimes apricot jam. I will leave the CLOTTED CREAM to you!

OK, but you all have to change the name of that stuff.

Thanks, Pat.

Perfectly smooth, and delicious. I can't believe you don't have it over there.

Actually I like dual meaning jokes and I never forget useless things.

Christine: it's heavenly with scones. I adore it, you would, too.

I think we have it, but it's not well known or advertised.
May have a scone right now!!!

What kind of camp are you going to? I hate to sound nosy......but the only camps I have been to have been for hookers.
Thanks to all of you for all the well wishes.
