SOLVED. young adult sci fi the kids connect to the net/electricity with their brains [s]

It was a series...I think. I ready it/them sometime between 2002-2008? I want to say the main character's name was Raven.
It was set in a futuristic, slightly dystopian world.
I remember they could plug into the internet with their minds. In the end, I think the strongest girl, the main character, gives her life/physical body to save the others.
There were many abandoned kids in this novel(s).
They were young adult, and moderately sized, not too long.

Any help much appreciated.

I just found it! Randomly going and adding some of my already read books to my bookshelf, and saw it in the "readers also enjoyed" section.

It is "Hex" by Rhiannon Lassiter.
