I changed the media type to not a book.

It sounds off-puttingly complex in the manual, that's for sure. :-)There's a new "mark as not a book" link on the edit page, but then it says not to use it for books, so I'm not sure if this is a situation where you can, or cannot, use it. We're all in a constant state of learning around here.

I think I come across these only every couple of months and that's not enough for me to cement the process. So I come here and let Rivka - or a super - deal with it. Thank goodness for Rivka and the supers! (and the rest of you who are willing to foray into the unusual)

It's not that new. About 2 years old, I think. It won't show up for any item that has been shelved by even a single user.
And books should not be NAB'd by any method. But legitimately NAB-able items can be. This one definitely is -- NAB (via the link) pending.

A user posted that the page count for the book (ISBN13: 9780738747439) that came with this tarot kit is 184. But as per previous edits, Rivka NABbed it once (and someone else changed it back). Since there is a book involved, should we NAB it?

This is definitely not a series but a publisher's collection, but I'm wondering if these "full cast audio drama adaptations" should not be NABbed?

As I understand it dramatisations of works that have been published in print are ok but original dramatisations which have appeared on audio only aren't. Looking at the entries these Big Finish audio dramas would fall into the first category and don't need to be NABbed.

Would like to hear from rivka if these dramatizations are indeed allowed, so I can move the "series" info to the edition field and delete the series instead of having them NABbed.

RE #30 A lot of dramatizations are available via Audible which muddies things somewhat and makes it hård to draw a form line. BBC Radio ones for instance often turn up there, but others too.

which appears to be 42 issues of a magazine. The series description begins "Interzone is a British fantasy and science fiction magazine."
Is this an exception to the no-magazine policy?

Literary magazines with an ISBN (such as Granta) are allowed, but I must say I find the rules rather hazy on this point.

I changed the name of the author and I know i'm suppose to combine but as the edition has more than 5 reviews I got a little confused on what to do :)
Lau, I added some details from the WorldCat listing for this ISBN. I changed the format to Videocassette Tape, and I copied the description from WorldCat so that it is clear that this is a videocassette tape of a television show. The book record had been using the default description, so it wasn't readily apparent what the problem was.I didn't fix the problem; I just clarified the record a little bit. :-)
