The Space Between

This is a confusing, confusing story, no doubt because it jerks the reader around so much between two topics that do not come together until the end. I LIKE the characters of Michael Murray and Joan BUT the others are so weird and have no redeeming qualities ...I mean who cares about them. The Leaf on The Night of All Hallows, had more substance. It seemed like Jerry had been gone for a year but was in fact gone two weeks? I couldn't get it, I kept having to go back and re-read which is never a good thing. I assume it is Roger and William B. MacKenzie who find him, well maybe not. It isn't like D.G. to make the reader so damn confused.
