Jame scanned the seas. It had been a fairly easy two months. No storms or sea monsters. All the ports they had stopped in were friendly and reputable, giving them a nice break to re-stock and continue. However, they had reached open waters, and would not port again until they reached their destination. The wind was blowing lazily through his short hair, and Jame lifted up one hand from the wheel to tug on his earring a little. The crew had settled in just fine, and Adella was holding up well without his help. He smiled smugly, wondering how long that would last.

Adella was taking a turn up in the crow's next and she had to say that she liked it up there, it was just relaxing in her mind so she volunteered for duty up there whenever she could. Now though as she scanned over the waves she saw something that she knew probably meant trouble. "ship ahoy!" She called down the crew below, approaching from starboard!" It was still a bit of a ways away and she squinted seeing if she could pick up any details.

The crew was immediately busy, swarming the ship to try and get every ounce of speed out of her. Jame kept a firm grip in the wheel, scanning behind them at the advancing ship every couple of seconds. It was closer, and gaining slowly.

She kept an eye on where the ship was, everynow and then glancing back down at what the crew was doing. "It's gaining on us." She shouted down to them, her grip tightening on a rail. They hadn't run into another ship like this since her first week on the ship, months ago now.

Jame nodded, he knew. They weren't going to escape this one. His ship was fast, but she was obviously not fast enough. It was time to send out orders. "Man the cannons! Arm yourselves! Prepare for attack!" He handed the wheel over to Denver and went down into his room to make sure... it... was safe.

Jame, after finding the key still safe in its hiding spot, drew his sword and walked out on deck, tense and ready for the battle to follow.

When one pirate scored a hit on his shoulder, cutting deep into his flesh, he was stunned long enough for another one to hit him over the head and his world went dark.

Adella was slowly starting to wake up, at first not understanding what was happening around her, still out of it. It took a few moments to click but when ir did she started to panic, quickly sitting up which just made her side flare up in pain again. Nononono... .she did't saw anything, eyes wide as she looked at the faces around her.

Jame walked into his cabin and shut the door, plopping down onto his bed and picking up a bottle on the nightstand. He started to twist it open, but then decided against it and put it back down.
The crew that had survived was starting to move towards her. "It's a girl!" Sam exclaimed.
Denver nodded, moving forwards with a low chuckle. "Yes, it appears it is." he grinned. "Lets have some fun with her before we throw her overboard."
The other men laughed in amusement, their eyes lit with a greedy hunger.

Even though ot hurt to even move she managed to get to her feet, still gripping the sword tightly. "If any if you lay a hand on me I'll chop it off." She threatened, freaking out inside. There was no way to get of this was there.....the only thing keeping her even standing right now was her fear, the adrenaline pumping through her veins.

Denver kept moving forwards. "Don't be afraid honey." He crooned.
Crew members were moving in from all sides now, closing her into a ring of people. There was no where for her to go. Sam lashed out suddenly, gripping her sword arm, hard. He pried the sword from her hands and threw it away, smiling at her.
Denver reached out and grabbed her other arm, holding her still. He started to reach out to her.

The men started teasing and taunting her, making crude remarks. A couple started pulling at her clothes.
Jame sat at his desk, hearing the shouts and cheers of the men outside. He could only guess what was going on. He tried to ignore it. She doesn't want my help. He reminded himself, frowning a little. Besides, no one was screaming yet.

Sam nodded. "That boy is no longer with is. But you are sweetheart."
The group of men laughed and nodded in approval. Two of them reached down and grabbed her ankles, lifting her up so that each of her limbs were held. Then they closed in.

Denver growled angrily, not happy at being interrupted from his fun.
