Just watched the penultimate episode of Breaking Bad. Men in my life won't let me watch the last episode as they say it will be too much for me.... so back to reading for a while. I have to head back to Belgium tomorrow to work from the Dutch coast - didn't spot any dutchmen for you Irene.... so if I am working will be reading and reviewing. Will check in later. Thanks.... and i just saw someone say they didn't think this was as good as the first book because they felt Havoc and Cory couldn't compare to Issac and lilli...
MY feeling is there is No need to compare... each couple onto themselves...each are a piece of this odessey... and one should not distract from the others... because one couple is uber strong in most ways does not take away from what other couples bring to each other... should that color how you feel about all of a book with so much outside the relationship happening... I really don't think so and i find that to be ufair to the stories read and author...

So true. It's a totally different story. Yes its happening in Signal Bend. Yes its happening around the Horde business.
But this is Havoc and Corinne' story, not a re run of Isaac and Lilli...
Why people feel the need to compare is beyond me...
I get that we have " favorites" but to say they are not as good as...
They are different. Completely different characters. Their mindset is different, their history is different...
I all honesty i can tell you this book is becoming a favorite.
I really enjoyed Show story the most until now. ;)
Yes! It's so good! I love that we're all on the same page about Havoc. Totally agree with you both. There is no comparison. Two different sets of characters and circumstances. Embrace them for who they are not what the others have been. Also makes the reading experience that much better.
I appreciate you guys get that... it makes me sad when i start to see that type of stuff... It is their loss they couldn't just read to enjoy the journey ...love you guys
