You can use it for either 2 or 3.

Lindsey (_lindsey_) | 498 comments I love your task, Donna Jo! I grew up in northern Illinois, so I can relate :) I checked out a couple Christmas books from the library the other day, hoping to fit them into the challenge, and your task is perfect for them! Pretty sure these work...

option 1 - Dashing Through the Snow "snow" in title
option 4 - Wishes for Christmas Christmas genre

Val | 435 comments To make sure I have this right:
Option 2 - Room by Emma Donoghue Initials ED
Option 4 - The Burgess Boys genre Family

Oh, Maya, you are trying to scramble my poor mind with that cover. But after spending the afternoon thinking about it, I'll let you have it. MMM... my poor brain.

message 61: by Donna Jo (new)

Donna Jo Atwood | 2412 comments Bellagbear, yes, that will work. I need to get this put up in the approved box.

Cindie | 1841 comments For option 2, can I read An Indigenous Peoples' History of the United States by Roxanne Dunbar-Ortiz? Both "R" and "D" are in the phrase "dressing warmly." Because he last name is hyphenated, can I just use the "D"?

Cindie, yes you can. In fact, you would have to use the D, as hyphened words count as one word in the SRC universe.

Verified. That cover looks enticing after today's drippy weather--not quite freezing...but...

message 73: by Adria (new)

Adria Will Daphne du Maurier work for "Dressing warmly?" I don't know whether to count the little "d" as the beginning of her last name.

We'll follow the "last word is the last name" rule, so yes this will work.
