I think you're down to reading the lesser knowns, aren't you? There are so many on here that as people were nominating there were a bunch I hadn't heard of, despite the fact that I've got all of these in my TBR.
i know-its my own fault for having read so many! lol
I'm reading The Anubis Gates in Aug if you want a co-reader.
I am reading that now! But I REALLY like it :D
Cool! Someone nominated it as a horror selection in one of my groups and it piqued my interest. I love a good horror book.

Does anyone know what the policy or norm is for resurrecting old topics? It's generally frowned upon in most forums, but maybe book discussions are an exception. I ask because I may be reading some books from our schedule early.
You should be able to comment on book discussions anytime, I believe. I think the only off limits discussions are locked.

My January schedule was light, so I decided to get a head start on February. Both The Windup Girl (19:34) and Under Heaven (19:32) audiobooks are on the long side.

Thank you! I never check the sales thread so I wouldn't have seen it. The narration is only an additional $2.99. This isn't my kind of book so I would have resisted paying full price.

I thought the Horses thread sounded intriguing :)
I'm hoping to get to it late next week. I can't wait. I was so excited that this one was popular enough to get in.
I like Under Heaven, but it isn't anywhere near my favourite GGK novel, I confess. Ysabel, on the other hand... And I nearly picked up a duplicate copy of Tigana today, if it weren't for my trying to reduce my duplicates... I still have River of Stars to read yet, though. Oof, my TBR can be quite intimidating when I actually look at it. (I just finished The Secrets of Drearcliff Grange School, and am in the midst of listening to the Harry Potter books on Audible, & just got the new Richard Armitage-narrated edition of David Copperfield this morning for my birthday (that being tomorrow). And that's just the start.)
I started Under Heaven a couple of days ago and I really like it so far. The description of the world is lovely, and I'm enjoying the character building so far.
I'm such a slowpoke it seems. I'm still reading Ancillary Justice (though I'm around halfway mark), but I think I will finish it this week, as soon as I have got some of my work related stuff out of the way. Then I will start to read The Windup Girl, though I doubt I will be able to jump in the conversation right away. I will definately read it, though, as it has been on our bookshelf forever without being read, so it's about time to see what's it about.
I just finished Ancillary Justice yesterday. I also posted the threads a few days early so I think you're probably fine. I read The Windup Girl years ago and didn't like it. I was hoping to get time for a reread but I don't think I have it.

The calendar that Michael organized for last year really helped me keep up with my reading last year. I hope this does the same for you guys :)
