Bridgett (brikie) | 5 comments Double checking before committing. Does Colorless Tsukuru Tazaki and His Years of Pilgrimage by Haruki Murakami meet the one-book option?

Or The Museum of Extraordinary Things by Alice Hoffman?

Also, Wild: From Lost to Found on the Pacific Crest Trail obviously does, so that's a suggestion for others checking the thread.

Paige (paigeawesome) | 39 comments Would The O. Henry Prize Stories 2014 by Laura Furman work? She's the series editor so I'm not really sure it counts.

Sorry, no, from the rules:
Only authors that are identified as authors (or a default blank in the author role field), co-authors, or contributors may be used for tasks involving author information. Other roles or functions such as editor, illustrator, artist, translator, introduction, designed by, foreword, preface, assistant or afterword may not be used for author-sourced tasks. Ask about other roles identified in a Goodreads record in the season's General Questions help thread.

No, that won't work
"Coffee table", Art books, and other books consisting primarily of images or photographs without a substantial written component (essays, criticism, etc.) may not be be claimed for points.
