15.1 Make the Switch
Two of the best known Impressionist artists were Manet and Monet. Read two books by authors with names* that differ by exactly one letter. *The name may be in any position- first, middle, other, last, but the names for both books must be in the same position- first/first, last/last, have the same number of letters with the changed letter in the same position and may NOT be initials.
ex. Anne/Anna: Anne Perry, Anna Quindlen
John/Joan:John Grisham, Joan Didion
Coe/Poe: Jonathan Coe, Edgar Allan Poe both last names

accents and diacritical marks may be ignored

Joan Wolf and Gene Wolfe - the names must have the same number of letters
Black and Blake - the changed letter must be in the same position

Sorry, that won't work. Hyphenated names are considered one name Jussi Adler-Olsen has 10 letters and Melissa F. Olson has 5. The names must have the same number of letters.

No, the names must "have the same number of letters"
