~Melissa~ Thanks for the change in words. :)

Will these work:
Prey - with a huge bird of prey on his arm
Boat - you can walk away with a boat load of cash

woohoo - I've found 4 words and I feel proud LOL

Turtlecollector Dennis I had been looking for something like a rock quarry. With this change, can I use the title of a book? I am reading Rules Of Prey by John Sandford.

message 257: by [deleted user] (new)

I actually found quite a few words from the original list but the changes are also good especially quarry and viaduct.....yikes! :)

message 258: by Lauren (new)

Lauren (laurenjberman) I actually found prey and quarry in my book so it works out :0)

Will bees work for bee?

message 259: by [deleted user] (new)

I swear Lauren you are reading my mind right now...LOL I was going to ask the same question :D

message 260: by Turtlecollector Dennis (last edited Apr 21, 2014 01:17PM) (new)

Turtlecollector Dennis I found prey in a different book. But would any of these work:

"..winter brought on alligator-skin syndrome..."

"...she cried fat crocodile tears..."

"...with a hot-pink faux-alligator handbag..."

I had also found several of the words, but I read a wide variety of genres. Viaduct and quarry were giving me trouble and bridge and prey are much better. I am still having trouble with flute.

Great minds!

Managed to find them all in two books. Monologue was definitely the hardest.

Apoorv Moghe (goodreadscomapoorv) Apologies to everyone if the words / items to be found were difficult / uncommon. I didnt intend for it to come across as that way.. hopefully the changes will help.

Sue Morris Will this work for "rope"...

I want him to paint for me or will I get roped into doing it?

Turtlecollector Dennis Would this work, or does it need to be eaten for breakfast?

"...the neighbor's winter cereals in the adjoining field were scorched."

Also, can rope be plural?

Turtlecollector Dennis For the following words, are we looking for those specific words, or can we use types of the word?

Mexican food - tacos, enchiladas, nachos, etc?

Bird - robin, owl, crow, etc?

For frame and hike can any form of the verb be used, i.e. hiking, framed, etc.?

message 297: by Lauren (new)

Lauren (laurenjberman) For Mexican food, does it have to be the exact words or can it be a type of Mexican food like tamales or enchiladas or tequila?
