I finally found fatherhood it's in a book I've already read but I loved it the first time so reading it again won't be to much of a hardship...lol but on the plus side it has been nearly 2 years since I read it so this will be a nice refresher :D

No, that won't work because it is referring to an actual fish not the verb, to fish.

Jennifer C. Would legal counsel work for lawyer? This is the context...

They'd already tried asking him questions. It hadn't been very effective, with Fraser repeatedly refusing to answer and demanding legal counsel.

Jennifer H Just so everyone knows "Dancers" can be used for "Dancer" but not ballerina or people dancing.

PepperP0t | 2106 comments Wow! It's probably just me but this weeks list is gonna be difficult because few of the words would be in my normal reads and i'd spend more time looking for words than enjoying the book.

Turtlecollector Dennis This looks like it might be a hard week for me too. Does dancer have to be the person? I have a horse named Dancer in one of my books.

I'm in the same boat. Children's books would probably be a good bet, but they don't hold any interest for me. I'll look through a couple of books, but I'll probably end up sitting this week out for the most part.

message 244: by PepperP0t (last edited Apr 21, 2014 11:08AM) (new)

PepperP0t | 2106 comments I agree Rhonda. I don't want to spend so much time looking for words that I don't enjoy the read, nor do I want to read a book I wouldn't otherwise just to locate the word.

this is supposed to be fun and challenging as in possibly difficult to find in a read not impossible in a genre. (for instance I can't tell you the last time I saw viaduct in historical romances, highland romances or paranormal romances)

message 245: by Marie (new)

Marie | 64 comments Yeah, I gotta say that a lot of these words are too "specific"..not really sure if I'll find them..

Jennifer H I have spoken to Apoorv and we have decided that if it is alright with the group we will make some changes to the list.

These are the changes that would be made...

-Alligator/Crocodile
-Change canoe to boat
-Any kind of flute
-Change quarry to prey
-Change viaduct to bridge

Let me know what you think and I will make the changes to the original list
