Me too! I looked in 6 different books before I found it.
I finally found fatherhood it's in a book I've already read but I loved it the first time so reading it again won't be to much of a hardship...lol but on the plus side it has been nearly 2 years since I read it so this will be a nice refresher :D
could this be used for fish?

Would you take this for starve? ..."Tabby arranging her slim pale body on a lounger like an exhibition banquet for the starving."
~♥ Kat ♥~ wrote: "could this be used for fish?ex: The SUV fishtailed wildly as it nearly..."
No, this won't work.
Marie wrote: "Could this be used for cake? They were mud-caked.."
Let me check with Pat on this one. I'll get back to you.
Hina wrote: "Would you take this for starve? ..."Tabby arranging her slim pale body on a lounger like an exhibition banquet for the starving.""
Yes, I'll take that.
Sam wrote: "For the ones with no substitutes, that means no plurals, etc. too right?"Correct. No plurals. It has to be exactly as written.

Yes, I'll take that."
YAY!! That makes six items in my first book.

Sorry, I'm not very observant apparently. I just noticed the note at the bottom of the list, haha.
Marie wrote: "Could this be used for cake? They were mud-caked.."
Are you trying to use this for MUD and CAKE?
Jennifer ♔Princess Penguin♔ wrote: "Marie wrote: "Could this be used for cake? They were mud-caked.."
It will work for mud and cake"
Great!
Sue wrote: "Would this work for starved? He has been emotionally starved and he didn't know it...."Yes, it will work.
Rhonda wrote: "Will this work for fish?He was able to get to work on time, even hunt and fish with friends...."
Yes, that will work.
Would the saying: Being shot at like fish in barrel work for fish?
~♥ Kat ♥~ wrote: "Would the saying: Being shot at like fish in barrel work for fish?"No, that won't work because it is referring to an actual fish not the verb, to fish.
Angie ~aka Reading Machine~ wrote: "Would this work for fish~bent down to fish out his wallet? Found in
."Yes, that will work.
Wanda wrote: "Would fishing be acceptable for fish if it is part of the verb such as 'going fishing'?"Yes

Thank you!
Would legal counsel work for lawyer? This is the context...They'd already tried asking him questions. It hadn't been very effective, with Fraser repeatedly refusing to answer and demanding legal counsel.

Yep, legal counsel will work.
Wow! It's probably just me but this weeks list is gonna be difficult because few of the words would be in my normal reads and i'd spend more time looking for words than enjoying the book.
This looks like it might be a hard week for me too. Does dancer have to be the person? I have a horse named Dancer in one of my books.
Turtlecollector wrote: "This looks like it might be a hard week for me too. Does dancer have to be the person? I have a horse named Dancer in one of my books."That would be acceptable

Thanks.

Children's books would probably be a good bet, but they don't hold any interest for me. I'll look through a couple of books, but I'll probably end up sitting this week out for the most part.
I agree Rhonda. I don't want to spend so much time looking for words that I don't enjoy the read, nor do I want to read a book I wouldn't otherwise just to locate the word. this is supposed to be fun and challenging as in possibly difficult to find in a read not impossible in a genre. (for instance I can't tell you the last time I saw viaduct in historical romances, highland romances or paranormal romances)
Definitely a tough list this week. I'll have to take a closer look at the list I am picking for next week. Are you ready for me to pm my list Jennifer?

I have spoken to Apoorv and we have decided that if it is alright with the group we will make some changes to the list. These are the changes that would be made...
-Alligator/Crocodile
-Change canoe to boat
-Any kind of flute
-Change quarry to prey
-Change viaduct to bridge
Let me know what you think and I will make the changes to the original list
