[bookcover:Hard Li..."Thank you! I loved Graceling but forgot about the series so maybe I will go back to it and your other suggestions look good too.
This author is so underrated and her series is just fantastic. I gobbled them all up and am waiting for more. Love them!Another author who's series kicks butt and is also (IMO) very underrated because it is fantastic and hello sexy pirate anyone?
I can't recommend these series enough, so darn good and both very reasonably priced for Kindle.
Um there are quite a few of thoseKate Daniels by Ilona Andrews
Guild Hunter or PsyChangeling by Nalini Singh
Rachel Morgan by Kim Harrison
Darkest London by Kristen Callihan
Breed by Lora Leigh
Demonica by Larrisa Ion
Hiya,Different genres different favourites.
I love the Harry Potter books.
Molly Harpers paranormal books are brilliant, funny, edgy with great characters.
Nicola Claire writes the most amazing Vampire series. The Kindred series is probably my favourite adult vampire series. The story lines are great, likable characters and exciting stories.
Erotic romance would be the books by Jodi Ellen Malpas. The This Man series and the One Night series. Steamy with complicated, flawed but likable characters, and both have exciting story lines. :)
Top favorite is Patricia Briggs. Dragon Bones, Mercy Thompson series, Alpha Omega series.Faith Hunter
Dianne Duvall
Thea Harrison
Hmmm I will have to think more on this.

Jericho is rather dreamy!

Tasha, I am 3/4 of the way through the first in the Kindred series by Nicola Claire. I totally am enjoying it. There are a couple of nuances in the writing I had to think about for a minute, just because the story is set in New Zealand. I think I'm just missing out on the slang, common phrasing, etc., but that is easy to overlook and it doesn't overtake the story as in some books!
When I think about my favorite series, they all are books that I read over and over again. So here's my list:Rachel Morgan by Kim Harrison
Kate Daniels by Ilona Andrews
Shifter by Rachel Vincent
BDB by J.R. Ward
Chicagoland Vampires by Chloe Neill
Vampire Academy by Richelle Mead
My go to favorite series that I reread over and over is The Dark Hunters By Sherrilyn Kenyon and BDB by J. R. Ward. And how can I for get Christine Feehan Dark Carpathian series.
Vampire Academy is one of my favorites too! Jennifer L. Armentrout wrote a series called Covenant that's similar, the first book is called Half-Blood.These are more of my favorites:
Happy Reading!
My favorite PNR series that I reread and also bought the audio versions to listen to:Nalini Singh - PsyChangeling series
JR Ward - Black Dagger Brotherhood series
Jennifer Ashley - Shifters Unbound series
Shelly Laurenston - Pride series
There are other favorites from series, but I don't if they would be good as a stand-alone:
Alexandra Ivy - Beyond the Darkness (Guardians of Eternity)
Kresley Cole - A Hunger Like No Other (Immortals After Dark - 1st book in series)
GA Aiken - What A Dragon Should Know (Dragon Kin)
Jeaniene Frost - Halfway To The Grave (Night Huntress- 1st book in series)
Here's a couple I didn't see above - Written in Red. I had read a book in another one of Ms. Bishop's series and didn't care for it so ignored this book for quite awhile, but was completely bowled over when I picked it up after getting a lot of recommendations for it.PricelessI've only read the first book in the series but really enjoyed it.
I'd have to say Blood and ChocolateBut, a lot of my fans really love Bending Nature: A different kind of vampire novel
I know I'm late to the game, but I just discovered Diana Gabaldon's "Outlander" series this past year, and I can't get enough of it! I also tore through every book in Charlaine Harris's "Sookie Stackhouse" series. There are so many others, but these are the two series immediately leaping to mind today. :) Enjoy your vacation!
Thanks Anise! I'm home now and I had a great time! I'm always looking for books to read so you aren't late! :) I started the first book in the Outlander series but I got sucked into the Kindred series and I'm halfway done with it so I'll probably go back to Outlander when I'm done. I liked Sookie too!
