SOLVED. Boy in a sort of dystopian society. [s]

I tried googling this but I can't find anything. I remember there was a bird's nest on the cover and it was told from a boy's perspective. I got it in the young adult section of the library. I also remember that he had a younger sibling, I think it might have been a girl. He lived in a sort of gated society and they weren't allowed outside of that area. I know this isn't much info but I really can't remember much. I believe I only read half of it a few years back. Any help is much appreciated.

Riley, do you have any idea when it might have been published? I'm a fan of dystopias and am always keeping an eye out for different ones, though YA is not an area I'm as familiar with.

I think it was recently published. I read it maybe back in 2013. It looked pretty new.

I did a Google search and found All Good Children by Catherine Austen. The protagonist is a boy who has a younger sister, they live in a gated community, and the cover looks promising.
