I would like to suggest that we should create a new book profile for Harry Potter's new illustrated edition, instead of putting it as one of the various editions of the original Harry Potter novel. With lots of illustrations in it, I wouldn't put it as simply a "novel". Also, it is very new, published this year on October 6th, while the original novel was published in 1999, which is 16 years ago.

lethe | 16359 comments If it's not a graphic novel, there is no reason to separate it from the other editions. The illustrator should receive credit and the description may mention the copious illustrations (edit: which already is the case).

(New editions of classics from the 1800s and earlier keep being published, and they are not separated from the older editions either.)

It has the same textual content. 25th anniversary editions are (and should be) combined with first printings on Goodreads, and this is no different.
