There is a whole series of the books and i read them a few years back when i must have been around 13. It follows the stroy of a teenage girl who's family eat only fatty foods and so she is quite chubby. Then one summer they set up a food van at the beach selling lots of deep fried stuff and sandwiches etc and then a movie crew come to her town to shoot a movie and so they hire her family to cater for them. She ends up losing a lot of weight over the summer as the smell of the deep fryer puts her off and she doesnt have much time to eat as she is busy and then one day she is sitting at the beach and she accidentally gets it the back of the shot from the movie and a modeling company sees it and contacts her and she begins modelling. Does anyone know the name of any of the books in this series!? thankyou!!

I'm so glad I could help! I loved this series when I was younger and when I saw your description (which was fantastically detailed!) I was sure that it was this one. Great series :)
I read it so long ago but I loved it so much that I never really forgot it! Thanks again, I couldn't believe someone had replied so fast and when I saw that it was the right book it made my day! :)
