LOL, great way to summarize them!!



The male leads are remarkable.



They keep getting better. =)
Don't forget Into the Dreaming after the Highlander Novels.


I think they should be read in order. But I don't remember if anything major happens in the 3rd book. I want to say it does, but I don't want to spoil it. It has been a few years since I read them.





I always perk up and pay closer attention when the Highlanders are mentioned in the Fever series. But it is always too short of an appearance.
I think that one reason why she has not brought them in more often is because we, or at least myself, kind of like to see them in the "happy" little world they were written in. If you can call everything they went through "happy." And if they are written into the Fever Series too much, then we will have to acknowledge that they no longer live in that world. But in the devastated world of the Fever series. At least that is what comes to mind when they make an appearance. I am happy to see them, but them the shock hits that their wives and children are going through the same thing as everyone else. And, the fact that they were not able to save the world.
