We're waiting for Ezi to get Audiobooks, I think.

You guys can start without me. When the audio comes out on audible, I'll just jump in.

No rush.
I'm re-reading the whole series as we speak. Will fall in with you when everybody is ready to start.

I've already read Soul Deep, so I'm just waiting for Tantor to get you Seduction Game. Hopefully the delays I heard about in the Facebook group aren't that bad and they can get it to you this month.

In other news, Kaleo is busy recording Soul Deep right now for audiobook. It is slated for release on Dec. 29."
Thought you would want to know, since you're waiting for Audiobooks. With that information, do we want to push this BR to December?

Yes. Can we wait until Dec?
Those who need it for challenges can go ahead and read it. I don't mind.
Thanks Trea for the update

You're welcome. Just got in, but have to go back out soon. I have it for one challenge, but I think I can swap it out, so no worries. Let's just have Denise keep this thread open for December when those sign ups go live.

Tantor also emailed me an hour ago that it mailed me the mp3. I should get it Wed or Thursday. but it didn't include Soul Deep.
I am still pleased. I have heard good things unlike Darkest before Dawn by Maya Banks (KGI) which has been getting dismal reviews.
thanks Trea

You're welcome! Soul Deep is still being recorded, and according to what Pamela sent out last week, it will come out on Dec 29.
Do we want to keep this in December now, or move it back to November?

LOL! We need to flip a coin!"
it depends if we want to read Soul Deep immediately or do one book a month

I'm not the one who should decide that. Soul Deep would be a re-read for me, as I read it back in July when it first came out. (I got a bit eager to support Pamela! *ducks in case of flying wet noodles or tomatoes*) So, I'm going to make it your call.

so is there a big tie in or can they be read separately?

It's more like an indirect followup to Striking Distance rather than a tie in to Seduction Game. Soul Deep follows the FBI agent that was injured protecting Laura, the heroine of Striking Distance, during some of her recovery. The characters from Skin Deep are revisited as well. However, I don't know if the events of Soul Deep will impact Seduction Game or not.

Hmmm, I barely remember Striking Distance. Let me think and I will be back on it

Okies.

Sounds like a plan! I'll mark it down for right after Naked in Death.

So we are all starting next Monday coming?"
I'm not. Next Monday I have Naked in Death to read. I'll read Seduction Game when I finish that, probably Tuesday or Wednesday.
Amber wrote: "I'm with you.

we can just leave comments in spoilers. Trea reads fast and will probably finish before me anyway, LOL!

you really do keep up with her, LOL!
So in the first 5 mins, we have had a quick recap of the "couples" so far.
Who is your favorite? Mine is Sophie and Marc in
and then Tessa and Julian in

I think part of the reason for that is because she brings in Kaylea Cross' Hostage Rescue Team in this book.

why not?"
Don't want anyone Dead by Midnight - unless I guess it's the bad guys.
I am not like Kaleo Griffith's narration of Holly.
I love Nick, but the character Holy---I am vacillating between Holly the Ho and Holly the Dingbat.
But in reality, I know both are roles since she is trained agent. I just hate her cover loose Bimbo persona

I am sad to hear that. I was hoping there was more to Holly than met the eye.
I have finished. I didn't get to make comments due to RL, but i wrote a few during training yesterday.
1) I never bought into Holly and Nick's relationship. It made me think of Speed and Sandra Bullock's quote relationships that start under intense circumstances, they never last. So I felt like this was one of those On the Run, High Adrenaline, Bonnie and Clyde relationships.
2) I know this is silly but Romantic Suspense novels are starting to erode my confidence in government officials---I will leave it at that.
3) holly's dad--is it possible that he is a step dad and not blood relationship? (view spoiler)

Did the author ever say what Judiah said to Nick's fiancee before he shot her? I know why he shot her but not the words he said.
Pamela Clare did Holly a disservice after all these books. I think the author should have led Holly with a mission before introducing that she slept with some of her marks. We all know undercover agents have to do things, but leading off with her as a sex worker for the CIA took away from her expertise as an agent, her expertise in decoding messages etc.
She was just reduced to a sex object in this book and it ruined it for me.
Nick was the most underdeveloped male lead we have had in this series in a long time as well.
