I always thought her series peaked with book one, but that isn't to say the other two books weren't good or that Catching Fire wasn't a good movie.But the trailer WAS awesome, in my opinion. I almost got goosebumps! ;)
okay, now i really liked that girls dress-but who was she meant to be?and why was peeta there?
is it because of when President Snow had him from when they escaped the arena?

I keep fearing that Donald Sutherland will die just as did Philip Hoffman before the whole thing finishes. That's probably a terrible thing to think or say, but Sutherland is so magnificent as President Snow. I would be surprised (pleasantly) if it isn't his last crowning achievement.

There is a part in the trailer when peacekeepers seem to be killing people in a forest, was that in the book?

Hello, hello! :)This thread's too long for me to catch up but I am excited to see Mockingjay on screen. I've always liked the movies more than the books *gasp* and I really disliked Mockingjay. So I'm looking forward to the movie version.
And by the way, I met Josh Hutcherson! =D

**** SPOILERS INCLUDED BEWARE ****Guys please, like i read the book but i seriously dont know why people are Hating Gale so much?? I wanna talk about the scene where they see Peeta on TV and Gale gets mad.. Tbh he had the right to be mad cuz 1. He didnt know that Peeta was hijacked 2. He had enough sure the thing he said about the Nut was wrong cuz there were innocent people but he suffered alot when they destroyed District12 cuz he was there and he was trying to save the families! And remember in Catching Fire when Katniss told him that they should leave.. He said "What about the other families?" CUZ HE CARES ABOUT OTHERS. And whoever says Gale killed Prim you're SO WRONG! No hate i'm just sad and mad about the Gale hate

THANk YOU! And yeahh like he saved her in Mockingjay in D13 and he always took care of Prim and Katniss's mom when Katniss was in the games cuz they were part of his family.. I might disagree in somethings that he said or did but i dont hate him! And if it was about him loving Katniss well cant you blame him? I bet he had a whole future planned with her if it werent for the games! But things changed after she went to the games and she loved Peeta but he didnt give up on her cuz well he loves her even though she doesnt share the same feelings i mean wouldnt you if u loved someone? You wouldnt immediately forget about your history with them well i know i wont lol

I saw it and.... It was AMAZING!!!! Exceeded all my expectations :D
I am watching the movie right now and I can honestly fall asleep. I think they should've left the last book into one movie. Nothing is happening, the movie is too draggy.
I saw it yesterday and i loooved it! But i totally agree! Like my brother got bored when he saw it cuz tbh Mockingjay didnt have alot of "OH SHIT" scenes lol if you know what i mean so u think 1 movie would've been better cuz lots of people got bored

I saw the movie twice...not going to lie 2 days in a row. I thought it made Mockingjay a whole lot better than the novel (didn't care for the book), and it made me realized this story needed to be on screen. One thing that I noticed was Effie wasn't in District 13 in the book, but I guess they kept her in the movie because she is just a beloved character. Thought it was a great adapation.
Yeah they said that since the fans loved Effie so much they wanted to put her in both movies
OMG I saw the movie but PEETA, ahhhhh, the end was tragic so many people at the teather were buuuuu, because they didnt like it ( of course they didnt read the books).
*spoilers* I really enjoyed the movie. I agree Dana, I felt it needed to show Katniss trying to "act", living in district 13, nearly losing both Peeta and Gale (well thinking she did), all of it. Otherwise if it was one movie they would have had to cut a lot of those details. I didn't cry tho :D I also knew it would end where it did! tho when it blacked out when Katniss had, I thought it was leaving it there! adding on the end was great but I think it would have been more dramatic to have :D

That's exactly how I felt. I liked Gale in the first book, but not so much in the other books
I have seen it in theaters twice already. It is amazing. I don't want to wait a year for the next one! :(
Loved it! I wasn't a fan of the last book, but this movie was great. I preferred the film to the book! And I don't say that often....
OMG I thought the movie was pretty epic. I really loved it!! Yes there were some parts of the book that didn't make it into the movie, but I am okay with that. I went to go see it with a friend and we both jumped at the scene when Peeta attacks Katniss cause to be honest I was so into the movie I totally forgot about that scene.
