The stills of JMoore are out, as well as the logo on fire, but that is nothing too exciting... They are all calling the photos of JMoore the "first look" though!

so many bts photos! it looks good so far, I reckon the director will do a great job since he did CF, I heard peeta isn't in the movie much for the first part :(

I'm so looking forward to finnicks scene, if you guys know what I mean ;) hahahaha

Yeah, I don't think we will see much of Peeta at all in the first one...and that makes me SAD!! But, it will be better that way....I might cry a little less!! ;)

Probably the one when he walks around in his underwear! And apparently we will be seeing quite a lot of Peeta in the Capitol! That makes me scared!!

Oh....well then... I kind of remember it now, but clearly did not focus all too much on that part considering all the other things going on...haha!

Yeah, any of the stuff with Peeta being tortured and when he comes back all damaged is going to make me a total wreck!!

yeaj that scene! so cheeky haha, really? I'm really dreading it all, especially in the beginning where katniss finds Octavia? (I think) and the rest of the stylists in a pee smelling cell

Me too but I hope they keep it in to make the movie more dramatic!! So many deaths in MJ idk how I'm going to survive it (visually)

Exactly!! I cried the ENTIRE book when I re-read it a few months ago..... And then I walked around with this heaviness for a few days.... No other book has ever effected me quite like HG! Everything is just so real and raw and emotional!!! I am for sure bringing a BIG box of tissues with me to the theater for both parts of MJ!

Agreed! The events seemed so realistic when I read it, I cried so much after finishing it. I didn't realised how invested I was in the characters! I really wish some of the characters didn't die ): I wonder if Finnick knew that he was going to be a father..

When I saw the post go up a few days ago about the new stills I was freaking out thinking it WAS the trailer.... I was mad!! Although, I know once I see it I will be a hot mess for a while!! I still remember watching the HG trailer for the first time when the little trailer came out and I was crying as soon as I heard the whistle!!! Thankfully I have other movies come out between now and then to look forward to so I am not a total psycho!! haha

Me too!!! It said "first look" and I went crazy (like dropping the glass I was quickly drinking out of crazy). I honestly thought they gave us a trailer. I went onto to the website (which took forever to load) clicked on first look. And all it was was a stills and GIF of Pres. Coin stepping towards a microphone! I was SOOO mad!! They gave me hope and then they crushed it!! I was dying...

:( Well, hopefully since they put that out they are going to at least put out a teaser trailer soon!! I would settle for anything at this point! Well...anything but the pin rotating and being on fire and all that... we pretty much saw that at the end of the last movie! UGH!

I don't know if I would quite call it abandoning him since he told them to keep going and all that....but yes, that part is going to leave no dry eye in the whole place!!!!!!!!

True, but he was doing everything for them to keep going. If they stopped and helped him they would have died too, and then his death would have been for nothing... I wish there was a way for him to make it, but at the same time, in a book like there is there is a LOT of death, and it makes it believable. When there is something this intense going on, for no one to die and everyone to walk away happy and healthy and normal would be unrealistic... I just wish they could have killed the people we didn't like quite so much!! :(

That's why I really liked Mockingjay because it has a sense of realism to it. Finnick's death was really quick. I think it is going to be a lot more emotional in the movie.

Oh yes! His and so many others! I feel like with all the deaths and everything going on, it makes so much sense for it to be 2 movies! It would feel like an emotional marathon if it was all one! Just death and sadness right after the other! Not that this way I will cry less or feel less empty leaving the theater! haha

I really wonder when they are going to released the trailer. They usually love to plug the trailer into one of the hype movies that is part of the YA world. Divergent would have been perfect because people kept on comparing the series to The Hunger Games.

All I know is I have a feeling part 1 of the movie is going to be terrible. The first part of the book was so slow.

I agree that the first part was rather slow. I almost worry they are going to fill it by showing what Peeta is going through as well....and then I will die inside....forever..... UGH!

Don't we all! I know it would be hard but I wish that in films they were able to put in all the detail that the books have- but then the film would be never ending!

Philip Seymour Hoffman (Plutarch Heavensbee) died! But they didn't recast his character because he was almost finished filming!

It was the actor that plays Plutarch. I heard they were almost done with all his scenes, so they were just going to re-write some of them for other people and do the best they could after that...

I feel like this "trailer" does not really give us much, but I am excited to anything at this point!! I really REALLY want the official trailers to come out!!! I feel like they were out already for Catching Fire this time last year....
