It was! Part true, part tall tales, quirky characters, I loved it! A husband and wife take a road trip with a rooster and an alligator, what's not to love?

Updated the list of partecipants with - for those who have already stated - their TOTAL number of pages.
Up to now weìve read al together 13.105, but counting some partial - people who have written only Fridays and/or Saturday - we're up to 16.499. A lot are still missing - due to different times in different countries.
I'll check again tomorrow morning.
Please update your original message and not put number down here, I risk of missing them!
If you don't remember where you were, check the list: close to your name it's the number of your message!!!!

No big deal Michael. For you it was the first time. It is only too complicated if all of us write different messages with different numbers!!!

message 86: by Karen Michele (new)

Karen Michele Burns (klibrary) My total is up ---- I almost broke 1,000 at 997 pages --- maybe next month?!

message 87: by Myst (new)

Myst | 494 comments I just got my internet back after it went out friday and I spent a good portion of the weekend not reading since I was running errands or hanging out at someone else's home to watch weather (we had 11" of rain in 3 days).

Of course I was reading a book with no page #'s and it's a set of 5 books so I'm really extrapolating as to how many pages I read.

I'm not updating my original post as I didn't keep track daily...so...

Heart of Darkness Pg 277-328 = 51

Judgment in Death 14% of a 5 book set...so 65% through JiD? (I'm assuming each book is 20% of the total %) JiD is 356 pages so...231 pages?

282 Pages total.

Congratulations, group! Great reading!

Thanks, Petra! Of course if I'd added it up Sunday night instead of Monday morning, I could have read 3 more pages and made it;) --- I'll have to keep that in mind next month!
