About a year ago, I read a book about a girl who had special powers. Someone from the school with a current student went to her house to tell her she has been given the chance to attend the school. I remember that at first she doesn't know she has powers. The current student that went to her house was also in charge of becoming her friend and looking after her without knowing. The school is sort of like a boarding school. I think her powers had something to do with electricity. I also think that at the end they make a great escape. I would really appreciate your help.
