I found a book that will add up to 22, but it will take me a couple of days to finished it. The Chronicles of Narnia is a very, heavy and long book.

I will let someone else figure this out, too confusing for me lol.

I would imagine so! Take as long as you need, I'm just glad we have one that works. We have some hard goals right now.

No worries! I think everyone will be in similar situations. Except maybe me, my husband always is working holidays so I'm usually home bumming around (aka reading) between family visits.
If you use the app and mark them, the spreadsheet will pull them in and I can enter what I can figure out and we can add details to the goalless tab later.
Otherwise, we can just do a mass add afterwards. Either way, no big deal. Tower Teams will likely be running through early Feb, so there'll be plenty of time after life goes back to normal.
Merry Christmas/Happy Holidays to you as well :)

25 Days of TT Day 23 goal:
Read a book where presents are exchanged or that has presents on the cover
Read a book where presents are exchanged or that has presents on the cover

Enjoy the celebration. :) And happy holidays of course.

What do the rest of the team think, should we ask the mods?
Dragana wrote: "I went trough our goalless books and Controlling the Dead read by Shy has 'series-started' as top shelf on first page. I think it could work for goal: "Read a book with a top shelf ..."
I think we should ask the mods since it implies something other than starting a specific book.
I did post a question on this goal to them earlier today. I'm reading The Snow Garden, which has a top shelf of 'listening' which I'm arguing is the audiobook version of 'started'.
I can edit my question to include this one. Maybe they'll give us the thumbs up on one of them.
Oh, and I think the book you just finished (The Fold?) does have snow on the cover so I'd say use it for the Days of TT goal.

FYI I found a couple ebook freebies for some of the Days of TT open goals.
I have one for the warm weather goal and one for the hot chocolate goal.
I have one for the warm weather goal and one for the hot chocolate goal.

Great news. I hope mods give the thumbs up for one of them.
It sure looked like snow to me but I was not sure. That's why I didn't enter it.
I'm half way done with Old Man's War (for chlorophyll goal). It might turn out to be my favorite in this challenge. I'm so glad I got 'the push' to read it.

New goal: Read a book that is in the "Best Non-Fiction (non biography)" Listopia List (https://www.goodreads.com/list/show/1...)

24: Read a book where something important happens on "the night before christmas" for 10 points!
25: Read the 25th book on your to-read shelf ordered by date added for 10 points!
And extra news:
Any team that completes all 25 days of Tower Teams goals by Jan 15th will receive a bonus MEGA-BOON.
This boon will remove ALL 5 of your current open goals, so chose when to use it wisely.
Now I am super motivated. I'm going to read 25th book on my tbr right away!

Great Christmas present. ;)

Okay! I really enjoyed those (well the first 3, I haven't gotten around to #4) even though a lot of messed up stuff happens.

@Andrea: That's great news for me since I'm not a big fan of mysteries and thrillers. :)

No one has been kicked off! Don't be silly! We'd of PM'd you to see if you still wanted to participate before removing you from the group.
Read what you can/want when you want to do so :)

I'm glad to hear you had a nice time with your family Tori. How do you like Sabriel? I never read it but friends keep telling me it's awesome.

i'm thinking of alternating pratchetts between all the other books i read so i've just put all the earlier pratchetts on my kindle this morning as i've no idea what to read next

we posted at the same time :)
i really loved sabriel. i know its a young adult book but it goes through so many bigger themes
sabriel is an amazing character. i'm not the type of girl who actively looks to read books with strong female leads but sabriel is just rocking it. she gets the job done with not bitching or whining. she just accepts shes gonna live a life in armour rather then dresses

Haha what a coincidence. :)
I don't mind young adult books if the writing is good. I am not hunting strong female leads but I do love to read books featuring them. You sure got me motivated to push Sabriel up my tbr. :)

Happy Holidays, everyone! I hope it's not too late to say that ;)

So I did some good old spying on the other teams. These books they had:

They used shelves 'just-curious' and 'interested-in' as alternatives.
Honestly, I didn't think 'interested-in' would work as replacement for curious. I will need to check our goalless books again...

Used Destined for an Early Grave read by me for goal: Read a book that is in the ""Best Crime & Mystery Books"" Listopia List
New goal: Read a book that was originally published before 1900

In other words: If no one wants to read Testing the Submissive (or have found other book that fits) - I vote for us to boon it.
