I found a book that will add up to 22, but it will take me a couple of days to finished it. The Chronicles of Narnia is a very, heavy and long book.

I will let someone else figure this out, too confusing for me lol.

Andrea Freeland (kazeshinix) | 125 comments I will probably be reading a lot of books, I just won't be able to update each time, since Christmas is right around the corner I won't really be by a computer. I will try to post the books as much as possible, just thought I would let you all know. If I don't come back on until after Christmas. Merry Christmas everyone! Or Happy Holidays whichever you prefer. :)

I would imagine so! Take as long as you need, I'm just glad we have one that works. We have some hard goals right now.

No worries! I think everyone will be in similar situations. Except maybe me, my husband always is working holidays so I'm usually home bumming around (aka reading) between family visits.

If you use the app and mark them, the spreadsheet will pull them in and I can enter what I can figure out and we can add details to the goalless tab later.

Otherwise, we can just do a mass add afterwards. Either way, no big deal. Tower Teams will likely be running through early Feb, so there'll be plenty of time after life goes back to normal.

Merry Christmas/Happy Holidays to you as well :)

25 Days of TT Day 23 goal:

Read a book where presents are exchanged or that has presents on the cover

message 657: by Dragana (new)

Dragana (diaryofthebookdragon) I'm an orthodox christian from Serbia and we celebrate Christmas on 7th January. (We like to be weird and different lol). So I'll be here to cover for you.
Enjoy the celebration. :) And happy holidays of course.

Dragana (diaryofthebookdragon) I went trough our goalless books and Controlling the Dead read by Shy has 'series-started' as top shelf on first page. I think it could work for goal: "Read a book with a top shelf of 'started'"
What do the rest of the team think, should we ask the mods?

I think we should ask the mods since it implies something other than starting a specific book.

I did post a question on this goal to them earlier today. I'm reading The Snow Garden, which has a top shelf of 'listening' which I'm arguing is the audiobook version of 'started'.

I can edit my question to include this one. Maybe they'll give us the thumbs up on one of them.

Oh, and I think the book you just finished (The Fold?) does have snow on the cover so I'd say use it for the Days of TT goal.

Great news. I hope mods give the thumbs up for one of them.

It sure looked like snow to me but I was not sure. That's why I didn't enter it.

I'm half way done with Old Man's War (for chlorophyll goal). It might turn out to be my favorite in this challenge. I'm so glad I got 'the push' to read it.

we posted at the same time :)

i really loved sabriel. i know its a young adult book but it goes through so many bigger themes

sabriel is an amazing character. i'm not the type of girl who actively looks to read books with strong female leads but sabriel is just rocking it. she gets the job done with not bitching or whining. she just accepts shes gonna live a life in armour rather then dresses

Haha what a coincidence. :)
I don't mind young adult books if the writing is good. I am not hunting strong female leads but I do love to read books featuring them. You sure got me motivated to push Sabriel up my tbr. :)

Dragana (diaryofthebookdragon) I had some free time and checked all of ours goalless books and none have top shelf 'curious'

So I did some good old spying on the other teams. These books they had:
Testing the Submissive by Al Daltrey Hausfrau by Jill Alexander Essbaum
They used shelves 'just-curious' and 'interested-in' as alternatives.

Honestly, I didn't think 'interested-in' would work as replacement for curious. I will need to check our goalless books again...

Dragana (diaryofthebookdragon) Update on my mission to find the book for 'curious' goal. None of our goalless books fit, i checked 50+ ebooks I have on my Kindle- nope. And I checked first 6 pages of that genre and all books I would be interested to read do not have it on the first genre page.

In other words: If no one wants to read Testing the Submissive (or have found other book that fits) - I vote for us to boon it.
