Hey Marisela (LOVE that name, BTW):

I write in my office. It's a bright room on the second floor, with lots of windows and a chaise.

Hey Kimberly,

I started writing stories when I was very young (6). The school librarian would help you bind your own book with a special binding machine. You'd make a hard cover with cardboard and wallpaper. It was really neat.

But I started writing novels with the intention of publishing six years ago.

If you could co-write a book with any author who would you pick and why?"

Ooooh... That's a tough one.
I think I'd say either Christina Lauren (already a two-person writing team) because they write beautiful, fluid sexy scenes that I'm not capable of writing, or Karina Halle, because I love her edgy, dark writing and I think our styles might mesh.

K.A. Tucker (katucker) | 82 comments Lisa wrote: "What is your favorite genre to read."

Hey Lisa -- it's definitely becoming Romantic Suspense. The challenge is finding books that are evenly balanced. I find most tip the scale too much on the side of suspense and you don't get enough of the character development and emotion to go along with it.

Thank-you for taking the time to respond! <3 I completely understand! I feel like a lot of authors that I'm a fan of sometimes drag out an awesome book/series longer than needed and so you can no longer enjoy it. Reading your work is refreshing in the sense that I get that "The story has been told" vibe when I finished it! :) Thanks again! :) <3

I was wondering, if you could spend one day with one of your characters who would you pick and why? :)

I think I'd have to say Ben from Five Ways to Fall (Ten Tiny Breaths, #4) by K.A. Tucker , because I know he'd make me laugh and he's great to look at :D

K.A. Tucker (katucker) | 82 comments Irma wrote: "Did you always want to be a writer?"

Hey Irma - Honestly, not really. It's not something I dreamed of doing, anyway. I followed the very practical route of business school and working in the corporate world. I only realized how passionate I am about writing my own novels six years ago.

Hey Laura - I think I'd go with Burying Water. I'm not sure who I'd want to be Alex/Water, but I know I'd want Theo James to play Jesse ;D

message 66: by Shelby (new)

Shelby What made you want to be a writer

K.A. Tucker (katucker) | 82 comments Chie wrote: "How do you decide the characters name?"

Hey Chie! I don't really have a method. Sometimes it's a name I've heard before, loved, and made a mental note about using. Sometimes I change character names halfway through a book (I do this a lot, actually.) For secondary and minor characters, I usually pluck names from my Facebook friends list :D

K.A. Tucker (katucker) | 82 comments Shelby wrote: "What made you want to be a writer"

Hey Shelby - I love writing. I LOVE creating stories. I've always been a bit of a daydreamer. I'm in my head a lot. The day I sat down and started writing my first book, I felt an exhilaration I had never felt before. That's how I knew. :D

Anjali (anjaliagarwal01) | 3 comments Hii! I recently read the TTB series and it instantly became one of my top favorite series! It was really easy to get into the story and I hated when they were finished. Especially One Tiny Lie! I have to say that Ashton was one of my favorite main guy roles from the series. In fact, I really missed him in next two books. Before I keep going on and on about how much I love this series, who is your favorite couple from this series? :)

Hi Anjali! I'm so glad you've read and enjoyed the entire series :D My favourite couple from that series is Ben and Reese. I LOVE them.

Jabberwocky (thisjabberwockyeatsbooks) | 167 comments Hi, KA!

I've never had the chance to read your books *hides from thrown tomatoes* but I've heard soooo many amazing things about them and they've been on my TBR forevvverrr!

Anyways, I'm curious as to which characteristics you think are important in creating a male love interest?
