PnR stanadlone/series with diff MCs

I'm looking for PnR that can be read as standalones - they can be part of a series but I prefer each novel to have a different main character.

Humour or witty dialogue is a big plus but not necessary.
I'm not into the insta-love stories.

My favourite PnR authors are Shelley Laurenston/G.A. Aiken, Karen Ann Moning. I also really liked Pivot Point (YA PnR). I haven't been exposed to many PnR authors so I'm looking forward to your recs!

Hi Stephanie, if you like historical/steampunk type PNR you should check out Firelight and Kiss of Steel. They are my top two favorite series who have different main characters in each book. For more contemporary PNR I would recommend Immortals after DarkA Hunger Like No Other and Lords of the UnderworldThe Darkest Night.

I see from your bookshelf that you enjoy Jennifer Ashley. She's done several PNR books. Her Shifters Unbound series can be read as standalones. is the first book in the series and a good intro to the background of the series. She also wrote several books in a series called The Immortals. book 1 and book 4. Books 2 and 3 in the series were written by other authors.

I've recommended Christine Warren several times here, her books are similar in quality and humor to Laurenston.

Kresley Cole's Immortal After Dark series is amazing and probably right up your alley. Also read her YA series but thats a continuous series. Its just so amazing.
