SOLVED. YA fantasy book/sci-fi, high school girl wakes up with amnesia [s]

I'm looking for a book published around 2011-2013. The cover is an image in blacks/greys with orange lettering, I think, and it may be a one work title. It's about a girl in high school who wakes up with no memory, and problems with sleepwalking. She looks the same but seems to have a different consciousness (she doesn't remember being who she is supposed to be but has flashes of being someone else, not past life/reincarnation) The opening scenes involve her single mother finding her on the front lawn I think. She is part of small clique of girls that she tries to hide her lack of memorie from. There is suspicion and mistrust amongst the friends, a popular high school boy whom she vaguely remember crushing on and a mysterious less popular guy who in her current amnesia-state seems familiar to her. I think the popular boy was actually responsible for her death,

There are also scenes towards the end where she starts to realize who she really is- she really works for a government in a similar but alternate reality, where she sits in an attic and listens in/watches people from the "amnesia-reality" while transcribing what she learns. This is where she recognizes the mysterious high school boy from, he is her true self's boyfriend and they plan on running away from this alternate world. Her friends/mom in the "amnesia-reality" are also present in her "true-reality". Her mom isn't actually her mom though. In the true reality any little disobedience is seen as an act of rebellion and punished. It's a sci-fi theme, but a very natural sci-fi, not an aliens/cyborgs type sci-fi.
