So that's 4 series completed.

I'm embarking on my 5th series with The Cemetery of Forgotten Books. I have two books to read to complete this one - The Angel's Game and The Prisoner of Heaven

Overall, I liked the series but as one book starts off where another one finishes pretty much I think it would have been better reading them closer together. Plus, in the later books, there is less setting the scene and introducing characters because we should all know them by that point but I found that meant I didn't get in to the later books as much as the first couple. I am glad to see how it all ended though!

Just finished the Joe O'Loughlin series by Michael Robotham -- with the seventh book: Watching You. I love this author. This the latest thriller in this (hopefully) open-ended series set around the UK with a clinical psychologist as the main protagonist. I'm 4/10 for the challenge and have read 7 books of 13 total. Finished the Divergent series. So I have 1 series finished now.

I am going to change my number of series from 3 to 2. I just don't see me finishing the Hannah Swensen mysteries at this time. I had more books to read in the series than I thought I did.

Completed the Ruth Galloway series by Elly Griffiths with Book 6: The Outcast Dead. This is a great mystery series if you're interested in archaeology, mysticism or the Norfolk area in England. I love the characters.

I have everyone updated. Congratulations on your progress. I am in a reading slump. I can't seem to get books finished. They are taking forever. I am almost finished A Fault in our Stars, which will not work in this challenge but hopefully will get me in the reading mode again.

After we've all completed our current series reads we'll be able to start some great new ones - perhaps we could have a challenge in the future to read first of series to get us off to a start?!?

I'm hoping to get another 2 series finished before the end of this challenge.

I think I took the easy option and chose series which required only 1 or 2 books to complete it. Quite a few people in the challenge have started AND finished series within the time frame of the challenge - the only one I have done this with is the Cemetery of Forgotten Books series.

I hope you can find a book to pull you out of the slump :-)

Thanks Sarah. For sure the next book I read will be one for this challenge. I have a few where I only have one book left. Hopefully I can get a few in but I don't think I will reach my goal of 5 books.


Did you know that there is going to be one more Odd Thomas book? It is called Saint Odd. It will be the last book. Also, did you know that last year they made an Odd Thomas movie. I didn't hear about it.

I have yet to start the Odd Thomas series although I have the books. I'm going to start it after this challenge once I've got these current ones out of the way. I watched the film though a month or so ago and I really liked it.

The movie is on netflix if you have it. It's definitely worth a watch.

I'm actually in Canada too and yes out Netflix is awful! I have subscribed to unblock us though. It unlocks all the other Netflixes which is awesome! It's only $4.99 a month too! I love it, it's worth checking out :)
