"Rife... kiss me," she murmured.
She kissed him back with passion, her hands roaming his back. Her eyes were closed, and her lips parted under his.
She moaned quietly into his mouth, her hands fisting in his shirt.
She put her arms around his neck, fingers weaving themselves into his hair. Her heart was pounding so loud that she could hear it.

Wave's smile widened. "My mommy used ta sing it to me!"
Salem stared at him, "I want to know."
Connie nodded and smiled, but a touch of sadness appeared in her e..."
Waverley's smile faded. "Wha's wrong Connie?"
Salem nodded silently, giving him permission.

Emmy had stood up eyes widening a little.
The Shadow smiled darkly and Emmy found she couldn't move. The needle poked into her skin and felt the molten liquid pouring through her veins. She was out before her knees hit the ground.

Elly pulled away slightly, just so that her lips no longer touched his. She was panting for breath, and her heart was pounding. "Rife..." she whispered.
Connie shook her head. "It's nothing, really. Just... I never knew my parents. I don't know if I ever had any."
Sean looked to Patrik, slightly annoyed that the moment had gone. He wanted to be alone with her, with no interruptions.

Patrik's eyes flicked to Sean, a dark look on his face. If this bad thing had anything to do with Emmy he needed to know. Sean's feelings could wait.
Elly smiled back at him. "Rife you make me feel- I've never felt like this before."
Sean looked away.
Sean looked away.

"Ever'body has parents you silly goose! 'Else we'd be dead!" Waverley giggled, somehow managing to look horrified.
Sean frowned. "Oh..." he murmured, listening to her thoughts so he could understand. He looked at Patrik again, sympathetic.
Connie smiled slightly. "I mean I don't think they even knew me. I think I was taken away soon after I was born. But I'm okay now. The Shadows raised me."
Connie shrugged. "No... but it's okay."
"Yeah. We have each other." Connie smiled and hugged her.
((Bye!))
"I love you, too. You're like a sister to me, Wave."

Sean looked away."
Rife smiled down at her unsure what to say but sure the look on his face said what words couldn't.

Patrik looked slightly alarmed but hid it quickly
"Lost as in...?"
Connie laughed, but then froze as a vision flooded her mind. "Oh, my," she whispered. She stood and looked around. "Excuse me!" She called, "I need to speak to someone!" No-one heard, so she opened the door to their room and beckoned for Wave to come with her.

Sean looked away."
Rife smiled down at her unsure what to say but sure ..."
"I can't hear her anymore," she was hasty to explain, "But that could just be me."

Waverley, feeling Connie's angst, followed quickly.

"I- I think-" Elly bit her lip, paused, then finished, "I love you."

Sean frowned slightly. "Do you think it could be that someone like Elly is with her? I found out that Elly was shielding Ellis, so that could be it..."
Connie held Wave's hand. "We're looking for someone I can talk to. We really need to see that girl, as soon as possible."

"Yes,yes. I know Connie. That girl needs us."

"I- I think-" Elly bit her lip, paused, then finished, "I love you.""
"I love you too." He said the words tenderly.
Patrik raked a hand through his hair, it stuck up at odd angles.
"What- Did?" he seemed to stumble over the words.
Tears welled in Elly's eyes, but she was smiling.
