message 7201: by Ky (new)

Ky (poeticshark) | 10786 comments Shadow nodded seriously, taking the plates and turning off the stove as she piled the eggs onto the two saucer-like dishes.

message 7202: by [deleted user] (new)

He smiled and kissed her cheek. "Thanks for cooking."

message 7203: by Ky (new)

Ky (poeticshark) | 10786 comments "No problem. When it's eggs, I can do it fairly decent."

message 7204: by [deleted user] (new)

"Yeah, it looks good." He took his plate and headed for the dining room.

message 7205: by Ky (new)

Ky (poeticshark) | 10786 comments Shadow, lingering a fwe moments after he left the room, leaned against the counter and put a hand to her face. What is wrong with you Salem?! You have major issues! you can't love both of them! She shook her head, angry now. And what if I can't stop? The other voice didn't answer and she went into the dining room.

message 7206: by [deleted user] (new)

Sean had already sat down, and he looked at her with concern showing on his face when he saw her, but he didn't say anything, only started eating.

message 7207: by Ky (last edited Mar 07, 2010 03:15PM) (new)

Ky (poeticshark) | 10786 comments She sat down across from him, not meeting his face as she began eating, a mumbled prayer of thanks spoken before the fork reached her lips.

message 7208: by [deleted user] (new)

Sean heard and smiled slightly. He didn't pray, never had; he considered himself agnostic, but he really just didn't know what to believe anymore. He finished eating quickly and took his dishes to the kitchen.

message 7209: by Ky (new)

Ky (poeticshark) | 10786 comments When she was done, having lingered a little, she placed her plate and fork in the sink.

message 7210: by [deleted user] (new)

"Are you okay?" he asked quietly, gently, reaching out to touch her hand.

message 7211: by Ky (new)

Ky (poeticshark) | 10786 comments She didn't pull her hand back, though the voice screamed at her to do so. "Ya, I'm fine."

message 7212: by [deleted user] (new)

"Okay..." He frowned slightly, listening to her thoughts. "Is there something you want to tell me?"

message 7213: by Ky (new)

Ky (poeticshark) | 10786 comments Ye- no. No I don't.."

message 7214: by [deleted user] (new)

He sighed and nodded. "Okay."

message 7215: by Ky (new)

Ky (poeticshark) | 10786 comments Ha, you don't have to tell him, it said. He can know. You didn't think about that did you? He can read you! It laughed at her and she gripped the edge of the counter.

message 7216: by [deleted user] (new)

He winced. "Do you want me to not listen?"

message 7217: by Ky (new)

Ky (poeticshark) | 10786 comments "I-it really doesn't matter," she said openly, relaxing her fingers.

message 7218: by [deleted user] (new)

"Are you sure? I don't mind..."

message 7219: by Ky (new)

Ky (poeticshark) | 10786 comments "Mind," she chuckled, then looked sheepish. "That wasn't actually funny, it just rememinded me of something. But no, really it's..fine."

message 7220: by [deleted user] (new)

He nodded. "If you're sure." He squeezed her hand gently, then let it go. "I think I'm going to go outside for a while. I'd like to get some air."

message 7221: by Ky (new)

Ky (poeticshark) | 10786 comments Salem nodded. "Good idea. I think..I think maybe I'll go have a nap."

message 7222: by [deleted user] (new)

"Okay. I'll see you in a bit, then." He kissed her forehead. "Unless you want me to tuck you in?" he joked.

message 7223: by Ky (new)

Ky (poeticshark) | 10786 comments "I can manage," she said flatly, the voice berating her for being stupid.

message 7224: by [deleted user] (new)

He blinked and attempted a smile. "I know- it was a joke."

message 7225: by Ky (new)

Ky (poeticshark) | 10786 comments Shadow nodded sharply, walking down the hall to his room. I'm stealing your bed till you come back.

message 7226: by [deleted user] (new)

Okay... He frowned and went to sit outside with a sigh.

message 7227: by Ky (new)

Ky (poeticshark) | 10786 comments She climbed onto the bed, pulling the covers over herself and closing her eyes. Immediately she was assaulted by the voice. Idiot! Yuo are so ridiculously stupid! Get a real life, you can't have them, they don't really love you. It's like Ellis said: it's like you make them like you. You make them do that and then you pull back! You leave their hearts bleeding, do you want that? Do you!?

message 7228: by [deleted user] (new)

((Wanna make Ellis be a pain to Sean? It'd feel kind weird doing both of them, so...))

message 7229: by Ky (new)

Ky (poeticshark) | 10786 comments ((yah, sure..mwahaha))

Ellis slipped out of the trees with panther-like grace and quietness to go with it. He sneered at Sean and appraoched him, his face a mask of anger and something a lot like pain. "You."

message 7230: by [deleted user] (new)

Sean looked up. "Hello, Ellis," he said quietly. He wasn't even surprised to see him. "I had a feeling it was you that was causing trouble for Shadow."

message 7231: by Ky (new)

Ky (poeticshark) | 10786 comments "Causing trouble? For Say? I don't think so," he smiled, a cheshire cat grin that was extremely annoying. "Not as far as I know."

message 7232: by [deleted user] (new)

Sean scowled. "She was upset last night, and she wouldn't tell me what had happened. But she'd been outside. And then now, she was awake before me and this morning she was distant. That was your fault, wasn't it?"

message 7233: by Ky (new)

Ky (poeticshark) | 10786 comments "Fault?" he chuckled. "So we're playing the blame game now? I suppose, then, that I must in turn tell you what you are to blame for." Ellis took a long look at Sean, "She cries now. It's your fault you know, she never cried like that before."

message 7234: by [deleted user] (new)

Sean's eyes pricked with tears and he felt a pulling at his heart. "It's not because of me," he said. "It's not."

message 7235: by Ky (new)

Ky (poeticshark) | 10786 comments "It is," he insisted cruelly. "It's all your fault, you know that now right? To think about it..it wouldn't be hard for you to find that out for yourself would it?" Ellis smirked at him. "Unlike myself, you can read her, can't you? So why don't you? Why don't you find the truth of your wretchedness?"

message 7236: by [deleted user] (new)

((Gtg, brb.))

message 7237: by Ky (new)

Ky (poeticshark) | 10786 comments ((oki!))

message 7238: by [deleted user] (new)

((Back!))

Sean glared at him and stood. "Shut up. Can't you leave us alone?"

message 7239: by Ky (new)

Ky (poeticshark) | 10786 comments ((wilkomen!))

"Sure I could, but I won't. Dear Salem needs me."

message 7240: by [deleted user] (new)

((I'll be disappearing soon, though. *sigh*))

"She does not," Sean scoffed. "She doesn't even need me. She's independent."

message 7241: by Ky (new)

Ky (poeticshark) | 10786 comments ((*sad face*))

"Au contraire my friend. She needs people, she just tends to pretend she doesn't."

message 7242: by [deleted user] (new)

"She definitely doesn't need you. And I could never be your friend. Get the hell away from us." Sean was practically growling.

message 7243: by Ky (new)

Ky (poeticshark) | 10786 comments He pretended to be struck. "Over my dead body..or rather, if it helps, you can just picture Say's dead body."

message 7244: by [deleted user] (new)

Sean clenched his fists. "You wouldn't hurt her."

message 7245: by Ky (last edited Mar 07, 2010 04:31PM) (new)

Ky (poeticshark) | 10786 comments Ellis really was shocked. "Never, but there are people who would."

message 7246: by [deleted user] (new)

"There were more in our world," Sean countered. "And we're all together now. We can take anyone who even tries."

message 7247: by Ky (new)

Ky (poeticshark) | 10786 comments He chuckled darkly. "No, no you can't."

message 7248: by [deleted user] (new)

Sean glared at him. "You don't even know anything about this world."

message 7249: by Ky (new)

Ky (poeticshark) | 10786 comments "I know more than you I'd bet," he seemed happy with himself.

message 7250: by [deleted user] (new)

"What I know doesn't matter, when we have people with us who used to live here," Sean said, not willing to give in.
