Got 308, 309, 310310 only supers / staff can delete books that are not combined with other editions
Except there were a bunch of similar entries for that author that I was able to delete. Odd.

I'm getting bad gateway when trying to separate, after looking at the page for the Harry Potter book one there would be two separate edition, when I go to the second edition it is still combined. The same happenned with book 2, so I'm sorry if those are not separated properly. I am not sure what is the problem.

ETA: Sorry, I realized that my "adding" it was the problem.
I just found out that there are Finnish editions of this book while trying to combine it. It would be nice if there were another way to find a certain book that wouldn't require going through hundreds of editions...
re 321, the first one is queued for deletion/merge and is taking a long time for some reason. the second one is done. the third one was NOT a duplicate, so it was combined with the remaining works. the fourth one is also taking awhile for deletion.
Please could someone delete the following because there is not a book which contains all these books together.

I had similar problems yesterday when dealing with books with a lot of editions. The books normally separate eventually, but I think there are problems if it isn't fully done.
Anyway, I'll check on them later when I get back in.

I tried to combine these two books, as they are the same, but they are still showing seperately. The entirely pink cover is incorrect, but all the reviews and book info on it are correct. In the logs it says that Renske did delete them and says that I did as well, but they're all still there! Seems like it's a bug to me.

340: The ISBN is for the original Japanese book, published by Media Bunko.Look at the description, it says: "Published April 10th 2013 by Baka-Tsuki (first published April 2009)". Also language is given as English.
Baka-Tsuki is an online translation group which does Japanese light novel translations. They don't "publish" anything, nor can they legally, nor do they claim to.
Edit: though the translation also has some ratings/reviews, so I suppose that can be merged back to the original.

I've combined them and then tried separating again. Got a bad gateway again, for the first book. I didn't bother with the second one.

I nearly always get BAD GATEWAY when using the separate tool when there are many editions. Yet they always seem to separate in the end.
Anyway, I have good news for you - the first one is gone, the second two, I've resplit them and they're now both gone!!
The system might just require a little patience, but it was weird what was happening yesterday, with books showing as deleted then not actually being deleted.
